Thank you ALL for coming up with this mod. That blasted arm kibble was driving me squirrel bait! The fig looks SOO much better now.

Word cannot state how giddy I am with the changes :D

It's fully transformable? I hope that Yes.

I've realized that I really have no idea what "parts forming" means...

Think G1 Omega Supreme. You take parts off and put them back on in a different configuration. It's not all one contiguous assembly.

I'm relatively new to collecting, and don't have much familiarity with G1 stuff, other than the main guys, so that example doesn't help me all that much, but I get what you mean now.

^ It's pretty much what it sounds like. With a partsformer, you have to separate and take the figure apart into several pieces and them assemble them back together again in different configurations when you transform it. Normally, a TF toy doesn't need any (or just minimal) partsforming in order to actually transform (usually it's like a detachable accessory like a built-in weapon or something). Omega Supreme is a partsformer. Technically, combiners are too.

Anyway, just wanted to share the mods to my custom Smokescreen (I didn't paint it, I merely managed the kibble and kitbashed his arm blasters together):

The roof pieces clip in behind the wings snugly enough without further mods.

To get the hood halves on the back of Smokey's calves you just need to borrow the ball-and-C-clips from the missile weapons from HFTD Tomahawk (or GDO Springer), snap the balls into the stalk joints under the hood halves, and slide the C-clip ends right behind his knee joints. Adjust to taste. Articulation in the knees is a little stiff but not too bad and I like how the hood pieces fill out his lower legs nicely so they aren't quite so hollow-looking.

I think I'll have to find those lil c clips and give that a shot.
That paint work is awesome, who did it?

I love the reprolabels set. Can't wait to get mine. Even with the labels, he's still going to need some paint.

Heres mine with the reprolabels set. I went halfway with the mod as i lacked the gear (and the nerve) to go all the way with it, making a comfortable compromise im happy with. I really love this set, It makes a world of difference.

P.S. please excuse the crappy images. My regular cameras out of juice at the moment. Its doing this weird rotation thing. If you maximize the image, it should come out right.
