Ultra Magnus definitely deserve to be leading this PRIME team when Optimus is not around at the moment. I can't wait to see if Ultra Magnus will face 1 on 1 with Predaking,will this happen,we shall see

 

I like the way Prime makes Ultra Magnus like his IDW personality. It suits him cause he's younger than his Animated counterpart

I don't think Magnus would be Animated Sentinel Prime's level of dickery quite yet, I mean he doesn't seem like the kind of guy to be so freaked out by organics that he would murder his ex girlfriend... yet. he just seems to either:

Like to be noticed for his level of authority,

or: Is so "by the book" that it is considered a criminal offence not to address a senior commander as "sir"

We haven't seen too much of him so far so it's hard to say but I really hope he turns out to be the latter.

Yeah, I don't think Magnus is at Sentinel's level either. Sure, he's kinda stiff, but he's hardly the xenophobic prick Sentinel was.

Yea, but at least it's justified. Magnus has years of experience, and Smokescreen has what ? a phase shifter, speed, and occasional smartness. It's like promoting some rookie smart aleck over an experienced veteran.

Personally I don't know why ppl keep comparing Magnus to TFA Sentinel. All they have in common is a strict adherence to military rules. Whereas Magnus managed to lose Predaking, what the hell did Sentinel accomplish ?

And I prove my point. Ultra Magnus doesn't equal TFA Sentinel.

 

Yeah Smokescreen is am amateur. They're giving him the Hot Rod treatment we got back in G1. And I actually see no similarities between the two. Ultra Magnus follows orders and ensures everyone respects him since he is the commanding officer. Sentinel has gone against Ultra Magnus' orders plenty of times. Also Sentinel is selfish, which Prime Maggy is probably not.

 

This is a children show, and children need to learn, that even a kid with no experience can be somebody in life....

Even if it is not exactly how life is.

Anyone who follows the news or pays half attention in history class can figure out that a child can be somebody in life !!!!!!!

If Transformers have to rely on the same old dance, then make it realistic !!!! Show kids that if you're gonna be someone, this is what you have to do to succeed. You won't be somebody overnight, heck, it'll take years and things won't always go your way, and people will give you a hard time. But in the end, everything that has happened to you which transformed you into this somebody will be worth it.
