Anyone know what these are? I've had them for a while now, without knowing what they are. And to make matters worse, I haven't seen them come up anywhere. Both of them have a gold "Made In China" sticker on them. If the pics suck, I'll post a written discription later. Thanks SB
They don't look like anything more than generic transforming robots I remember seeing in catalogs years ago, along the lines of those terrible dinosaur robots that appeared a while back.
I have those, too! 3 of the 4 are alright, but the triceratops lost a leg recently. I did get them at the same store I got those dinos at...
The mosquito is extremely common and shows up in lots of stores to this day (including a local comic shop where the owner, who's a ****, slapped a $20 pricetag on it, wtf??). I think it may be part of the "Quick Change" line. I just tried all combos of phrases I could think of and found no pics on google or e-bay to confirm this. I have a sealed one that I got recently in my closet somewhere, but have no desire to dig it out right now. Sorry.
No way... /sarcasm It's when I bought them. Hence "era" as opposed to "Beast Wars/Machines or G2 KO Identification"
I had the lizard. Found it on the sidewalk near the apartment complex I used to live in. And yikes... that skeeter has some major knockers.
I used to have a wasp and praying mantis from the same series as that mosquito. I even remember seeing that one on the back of the cards they came on. They where in stores here in Holland around 1994/1995. That's all I know.
I've seen the mosquito over and over in the past. They always looked far too cheap to really have any interest in. The lizard is new to me - kind of neart.
I had...and technically still have...that Mosquito. Had it for YEARS (easy late 80s/early 90s.) It actually had decent quality, especially if it was a KO, as it was pretty hard to break it. Though mine only has like two and a half legs left and no insect head. But otherwise is in good shape. I'd love to pick up a near-mint condition one, if for nothing else then nostalgia's sake.
they sell these at big lots and walgreens they even have a giftset with the insects that are sold in a case with devastator superion defensor KO's
Quick Change FTW! Part of this line: readily available at your local Big Lots, there are only 4 in the boxed set, but there are 8 single carded figures including the mosquito one in your pic. Sorry no pics of the single carded ones, but that is where it is from... souts honor *I kinda dig bootlegs/KOs*
