Minor/Repaint: Beachcomber

    For those of you who can't wait till the fall, here's an easy Beachcomber project you can do.

    I've found that black and silver sharpies work better than paint (especially the silver). Not true for other colors though....

    Yep, you can't beat gool old Hardtop - Beachcomber bash. It was one of my firsts.

    Sharpie markers, huh? I may just have to try that. And BTW, nice job on the custom.

    Thanks. Only the silver & black were Sharpies. The Blue and touch of yellow on the "stomach" was Acrylic Model Paint.

    This may seem like a pretty stupid question, but...what in the slag is a sharpie?

    A Sharpie is a brand of Permanent Marker sold pretty much every where in the United States. Sharpie black works well on plastic, will cover pretty much any color with one coat. Silver works like a dream compared to silver paint wich usually gets that clear swirly effect and takes multiple coats.

    These markers are good for rookies like me!
