    i cant find this anywhere on thier site but what is sub standard? i ordered a RTS Grapple and its sub standered

    It just means the box the figure comes in might be a little dinged up and nothing more. Substandard items are usually listed towards the end of BBTS' current supply of a particular item.

    Ebay:
    Means the package has shelfwear. They sell collector mint, in almost perfect shape and substandard which might have some wear such as a damaged card, dented bubble, etc.

    Exactly this.

    if you plan to open it then substandard is what you want, if your part of the MISB crowd then go with the collector Mint.

    Yeah, usually substandard simply refers to the fact the box or packaging is not mint, condition is probably on par with what you'd find at big box retail.

    In my experience, even "sub standard" usually ends up in better shape that what you'd normally find at a big retail store like Walmart.
