I ordered the Seacons from BBTS on Sunday night, so lets say they got the order Monday morning. My order status still reads warehouse. How long before they ship me my goodness?
Shipping on BBTS is usually pretty fast though. On a couple occasions I've had things in the warehouse for longer than the shipping took. I'm sure you'll have it in hand either late this week or the very beginning of next week (stuff never arrives on weekends).
Shipping from bbts is fast, and awesome. I have found that my orders usually take 1-3 days to move from warehouse to shipped. Not a big deal, because I have been nothing but completely satisfied with their customer service.
The package is coming to my PO Box near Montgomery, Alabama. I had it shipped parcel post to save a few bucks.
BBTS shipping is super, I ordered four Deluxes, they went to Warehouse sometime last night (Irish time) and got and email a few hours ago that it was shipped.
Kinda dissapointed that there is no tracking info on USPS. They didn't tell me that. Anyone know how bbts is gonna handle it if it gets lost?
When you chose the shipping rate BBTS tells you that USPS in not trackable: BigBadToyStore.com Shopping Cart UPS Ground $10.09 Delivery usually takes 3 - 7 days. This method is trackable. USPS Parcel Post Mail $11.50 Delivery usually takes 5 - 10 days. This method is not trackable.
I've never had a problem with them after 3 years of buying from them, but those who have reported very good customer service and replacement of lost orders.
I'm in Norway (if that makes a difference?), and just got a big POL shipped. It stayed 3 days in the warehouse from when I got the shipment notice. Not a hassle for me, just letting you know
Rule of thumb for me: Give the order 2 weeks to arrive, and you will never be disappointed; in fact you will always be amazed at how fast you get it. that is either UPS or USPS. i always go with Mr. Brown on shipping, anyway.
I'm generally of this mindset too for everything I order. Mainly cause the Irish Postal system leaves much to be desired.
Had two packages shipped from BBTS, 5 days apart, same method for each. Both turned up on my doorstep exact same day. I don't know if that's to do with An Post, or the way USPS processes international packages. I *think* BBTS go Monday/Wednesday/Friday on international shipping.... but i could be wrong.
There is another USPS option that takes 2-3 days that you left out. It's called priority and it is very much trackable, just not by BBTS it seems. Those of us that work would like to know what day the package is gonna arrive so we don't have people waiting around for nothing. I used to use UPS because they would tell you what day the package would arrive several days in advance. But one day they left an $80 package from Toy Wiz in front of my apt. bldg. which is in front of a bus stop in Jay-Z's old neighborhood in Brooklyn. So you know what happened next. Anyway... BBTS is #1. Got my stuff delivered to my apt. 40 min. after my first post earlier today.
