Just noticed that the United Frenzy and Rumble set is once again available for preorder on BBTS after being listed out of stock for a couple months. Didn't see this posted anywhere so I figured I'd give a heads up.

Meh...I think I'm still going to pass and go with the PE ones now that BBTS upped the price by $20. I'll only get this if Ages 3 and Up gets it in stock for a decent price so I can buy it in person instead of online.

I got United Rum and Frenz at RobotKingdom.com for $60. Definitely not worth the price. They are nice and only worth the price if you are in a hurry to build your G1 classics collection. You've been warned.

    Ebay:
Got them for $60 at TFCon. Worth it considering there are no plans to bring the mold, let alone both colors of them out in the US.

I thought they planned to bring them out sometime in the next classics/subline?

That's just speculation at this point. I can't see it happening unless Hasbro brings back Scout Class or makes them store exclusives.

Anyway, I was about to pre-order a set until I saw the price. Haha, nice try BBTS.

I am still waiting for my BBTS preorder. Preordered it in February for $55.00 and still waiting. I also got a set from Robotkingdom a few weeks ago for $50.00 but keeping the BBTS order for S&Gs.

Thanks for the heads up on the slight gouging, didn't realize other places still had them for cheaper. I'd like a set of PE F&R but not sure who has them in stock

Hasbro hasn't been exactly clear what they plan on doing about it so at this point it's anyone's guess and speculation all around.

I got mine from Robotkingdom too. I did not want to pay $100 for these guys.

These have been up again for a couple days. I have to echo the sentiment of most in this thread and say that they probably arn't worth $75 unless you are a completionist. I think I paid $55 for mine, and while they are pretty damn fun to dink around with, I really think the PE renditions are better looking figures. United do have more play value, but PE have a better look (IMO). I am happy to have them in my collection, but $75 would be a bit of a stretch for me having played with them already.

They look awesome, but not as awesome as Windcharger, which I was willing to pay a bit of a markup for. I'd grab these guys up instantly at retail + shipping, but not higher than that.

Kinda glad I cancelled this as BBTS also put up a new preorder for the PE Rumble and Frenzy for 70$, but not sure if that's a good price or not

Based on what? When was the last time Hasbro just straight up decided to not release a mold for a line that wasn't canceled? Face it matey, you're paying an extra $40-$50 to have these figures a year before everyone else. And that's cool! I've certainly considered it, but don't fool yourself, there'll be an American release. Of both colors.
