just to be safe, i always assume the countdown starts at the time you first order something; considering that they can't keep 4-5 items you bought 2 years ago because you just added to the PoL 2 weeks ago. Warehousing your orders can get pricey, so there's got to be a rational limitation to it. that's my reasoning.
Oh, I assume it would be that way... it just wasn't automatically enforced in my 1 instance. There could be other explanations, as I mentioned.
Doh! I just remembered I emailed them the same question a couple of months ago. So it seems that their official number is 180 days from the creation of the POL. However, what we still don't how it's handled. Edgewise's POL is longer then 180 days but it was created after they changed the policy. So instead of "We WILL ship your POL after 180 days" is it more "We RESERVE THE RIGHT to ship you POL after 180 days"? Is it automated or manual? . . . To only conclusion we can draw from this is that to be on the safe side assume that at the 180 days BBTS will ship.
The thing that gets me is that my pre-orders always - always - come in two days after I decide they aren't and ship my stuff. Grr. Now Boomer has to sit in some Yank warehouse for who knows how long, instead of hopping in the box with Jim Kirk and Decpticharge...
