I've never used the pile of loot option before.
I know pre-orders aren't charged until they arrive to BBTS and I know in-stock items get charged as they are added to the pile. What about shipping charges? Do they charge me for shipping when I ask for the pile to get shipped out to me or do they charge for shipping before?

I'd like to add an in-stock item to my pile, but only have enough money on my card for the item itself, not enough for shipping.

I believe they pre-charge you for shipping on in stock items so that the shipping charges are gradually added, rather than having a lump sum of shipping to be paid at the end.

Yes, shipping costs are paid upfront as soon as the items are added into your POL.

Yea, they are continuously added for instock items (or as pre-orders come into stock), but it just adjusts for the increased weight. Sometimes no extra shipping will be tacked onto the order.
