    Hi

I know BBTS is a friend of TWS's so thought I would ask here about how well they pack things. I have approx $1000 (all TF) of loot to be shipped and im obviously concerned about damage. I was very impressed recently with TFsource and their level of care however it was modestly sized. I dont know if this will even be shipped in one go. Can I expect the same level of wrapping and packaging from BBTS?

    Many thanks

    T

I've been shopping with them for over three years now and I've never had a problem with packing.

What the hell did you order that added up to 1K? Seven USA MP Starscreams?

BBTS does a fantastic job at packing their merchandise. The only thing you have to worry about is if you shipped it per UPS. They like to use your packages as punching bags.

    Thank you guys

Thats great to hear. I knew they wouldnt bother with a collecters grade option then send it in a bin bag.

I know I went a bit nuts with the loot but I've got a lot of catching up to do.

Im waiting on Mp05 Accessory Kit which TFsource have had in for a month and Purple Galvatron. Then... its Disco.

    Thanks again

Ive specified 'USPS Express Mail' so not sure. its the faster one. Its international (UK) as well so even more time for them to spend at the bag.

That's correct, but also the likelyhood that it'll end up in customs is greater.
That's my hard learned lesson with shipping from BBTS. EMS or Express = straight into the hands of the local customs. Shipped as Priority mail, 70% chance it'll fly straight past customs :)

Having been around for a while, I'm not sure why this shocks me.

    But it does.

absolutely not. no one comes close to TFsource's packaging. but BBTS is bad at all with packaging. I don't shop there anymore, but when I did, nothing of mine ever got damaged.

All of my BBTS stuff has always arrived in perfect condition. On the other hand my Masterpiece Starscream form TFSource arrived crushed. Maybe Fed Ex is to blame, but if TFSource had packed it better it wouldn't of gotten damaged.

Yeah, well i wouldn't even try to let something worth 1k ship International with anything else than insured Express post.

I've seen what USPS does to uninsured packages. Sometimes it even looks like it has been in a Free-fight or Muyo Thai ring. :horse:

BBTS packs awesome. Usually double what you would normally use. Great service too!

BBTS has always pack my orders very nicely. Although I can't think of anyone who takes as much care a TFSource, they set the bar as far as I am concerned.

one other question I do have is about the "mark your package as a gift" option. How does this effect the shipping. Does it take longer? Do I pay more? I thought they're not supposed to mark it as a gift.

    thanks

That option is so you don't have to pay customs charges for international orders, which can get stupidly expensive.
