    Ebay:
BBTS is usually about 2-3 weeks before the first in store US sighting. But you're paying an extra $13 plus shipping for all 6 of these if you order from BBTS. For hard to find items its worth it (like the HOC waves when they were first released, I couldn't find those f---in things to save my life!), but classics should be as available as cybertron, I would think.

For Canucks looking to order, do we need to tack on GST on items or something? I already assume all prices and shipping costs are in USD (is this a correct assumption?)

also, cybertron has gone to Shite up here, and all we ever get are the armada re-paints, and i've gotten tired of looking, so, to save myself weeks of hunting, WHEN they are released here, and with the cdn$$ pretty darn close to the usd, the extra is worth knowing ill get what i want, no searching, no worries, delivered to my door, maybe a month or so before even relesed in canada.... and at XMAS shopping season..... yeah, i'll get prime and BB from BBTS thank you very much:dj

i put all the first wave up on preorder on BBTS, and while it will cost $13 more for the 6 figures plus shipping, i figure i'd spend just as much in gas and free time driving around looking for them, and this way i know they'll be delivered, all minty fresh, right to my front door - BBTS has always treated me GREAT!, and so quite frankly, i'd rather give them my $$$ over an actual store

I preordered the deluxes. I can't imagine not being able to find the new versions of Prime and Megatron in the store though, those two are always available.
Unless it's Alt Prime, of course.

ya know, if BBTS made their full set price retail, i would totally do it, i'd preorder just to not have to look, but the extra $ + the shipping just outweighs it. (hell, if they did a wave 1 preorder for $80 + shipping i'd be all over it.)

I know they don't ge tthe same price breaks large scale Brick n' morter stores do, and i don't mind them charging more for the individual figures, but if your automaticly dropping 1/2 a case, just seems like they could do retail...

Twenty-five quid for all the Deluxes, and virtually the same again for both Meg and Op?

I believe the appropriate term is 'yoink'. :D

Same as here in New Brunswick. With prices at $11.99 USD for a Deluxe, that still beats the $19.99 CDN Toys R Us wants to charge by a few bucks when converted. My only concern is that everytime I order from BBTS, I ALWAYS get slapped with border charges and GST, forcing me to shell out another $10-20 to the postman, wiping out any savings I might have had, and possibly forcing me to pay more than retail.

I've noticed that other Canucks aren't mentioning this, so is there some trick to avoiding additional taxes, or is this just an accepted given and no one talks about it? I do have BBTS check off the goods as 'gifts' on the US declaration sticker slapped on the front (which usually works with eBay goods making it across the border), but still I'm slapped with additional taxes.

    Any suggestions?
