bigbadtoystore has god mars in
that thing is pretty damn awesome. It looks to me like it would make a great Mighty Orbots kitbash. Good luck
Back in the 80's I had a God Mars set. Got it for Christmas, had no idea what it was but it was along the same lines as Voltron so I thought it was cool.
*edit* Happy memories made me think it might be cool to get this set until I saw the $265 price. To bad, this set looks much cooler that the brick like guys from back in the day.
Combined mode is like, prefectly proportioned. That thing is classic, unfortunately, it's too freaking much!
Orbots was a knock off of God Mars, so yeah, it wouldn't be hard to make it into Orbots at all. My set is on it's way to me as we speak, hurry UPS!
Maybe when i get paid next month . . . . .
they dont even have alt modes!
Good grief! Why would you want to customize God Mars into a "pretender"?! LOL! Another factor against customizing is the price!
Sure they do. They turn into futuristic recycling bins.
YOuuuuuuuuuu don't have an alt mode!
hey ligerprime i grew up on the orbots as a kid back in the day so i figure that set would be the closest i will ever come to actually having a figure based on the show
Ok, ok - my bad! I understand if you grew up with the Orbots but IMO, you really have to be a really skillful if you want to customized GM into them!
I keep going back and looking at the pictures, it really is fantastic looking. I just can't get past that price tag though.
In case anyone didn't know this is from the Soul of Chogokin line. Lots of die cast and apparently totally excellent figures. Expensive as heck though.
