I don't get it. This is better than the original...how? Do you get a whole new arm or do you have to take something apart?

The lack of details and photos on pretty much everything they sell bugs the shit out of me.

If they were going to do that they should have given it articulated finger tips.

Why? Their Devy and Predaking upgrades are still popular. The only people who don't care are the ones... who don't. If that makes sense.

Their "news" generally have had much less responses/views, and it has been a while since they have had any news that most people care about.

HMMM, looks like the "bend" at the "finger tips" (which SHOULD have been jointed..) will allow him to hold sthings better (like small 'cons), and may be slightly more design accurate depending on what model sheet you're loookign at (unless my memory is failing, which is likely).

I love me some CD stuff, but the Omega series is NOT doing anything for me yet.

98.986% chance you have to take apart his arm and install JUST the claw parts into a vintage arm piece....which also sucks the cool factor down a few notches...

I wouldn't mind getting this to put on the custom Omega that I have. But as a G1 add-on set, I am really unimpressed with this set so far.

Here's a thought CRAZYDEVY! Why not make an Omega Supreme visor with a face molded in for those who don't have the Encore version!

Why not make something original for a change?

In the realm of a completely new mold from scratch? :)  From Virgin plastic ABS!!!

    This.

I never quite understood why people want to "upgrade" their G1 figures. No matter what you put on the figures, you're not going to make it the coolest thing ever. No set of addons will make Devastator (or whoever) the most cartoon accurate or articulated figure. G1 figures were a very 80s design. For those who want cartoon accuracy or articulation, just go with either the CHUG figures, or the 3rd party stuff.

This is why I normally pay no attention to CD stuff. As an earlier poster stated, if they want to be real players, or want to make a great product, just do a brand new custom figure. There would be huge money to be made for them if they put out a decent 3rd party custom Predaking or Omega Supreme.

I suppose though, as long as people are shelling out ridiculous amounts of money to "improve" their vintage figures, they don't have much motivation to do anything else.
