Why is it that bbts haven't posted the pics and preorder pages for
the tf classics?. I have checked daily for months now and still
nothing,so whats the deal?.If what the posted earlier on the main
page is true that they are released late july or early august then
they are coming real quik. Finally I will say if they don't hurry up and
post them for preorder I am going somewhere else.

Are you on their mailing list? They sent a note awhile back saying that they were waiting for Hasbro's OK before they opened up preorders, or something to that effect.

I deleted the e-mail, so I can't quote it directly, but maybe someone else here can.

Yeah, the note said they were waiting on official info. Not to mention, some folks love taking potshots at BBTS because they typically put up preorders early, then have had to change or cancel them on a couple of occasions. Maybe Joel's getting gunshy - lol.

I plan to go with them - the even disribution of figs means it makes a lot of sense to order by the case, rather than try to hunt them all down one at a time.

Yeah, I'm on their mailing list and that's basically what was said... that and that they'd have a hole bunch of other TF/Hasbro preorders becoming available "really soon" so we should stay tunned. Which probably means that we're going to get preorders for the rest of the Cybertron stuff and maybe Camshaft? Probably some SW stuff too... and I'd expect to see the Classics really soon also.

I think they got spanked for putting up the 6" Titanium preorders before Hasbro gave the ok. There was something about that preorder that wasn't kosher. I can't recall exactly what it was.

Nothing more than them getting solicitations and putting them up too early I'm sure. Also, they apparently thought that the second figure in the set released alongside WW Optimus Prime was going to be the WW Jetfire and that the Megatron and Thundercracker were going to be released at a later date.

By the way... they have up to wave three (Optimal Optimus and Scourge) on preorder now. Same solicitation pics seen for Jetfire and Thundercracker, but no pics of the other two yet. Which means we still don't know which Scourge it is.

I hear it'll be the G1 Scourge. No proper confirmation yet to my knowledge, though.

I would love it if they actually did that. Give the main body parts/wings hinges so he could look really close to his cartoon appearance.

Considering that the other 6" in that same wave is Optimal Optimus, I'm not holding my breath on that one.

As to no pre-orders for the Classics yet, BBTS only has Transformers pre-orders up to September. Whatever the case with Target, I doubt BBTS will be getting them much sooner than Hasbro's stated release date of November.

I hope he looks close to that new statue. That would be awsome. Scourge deserves a decent rendition.

I remember when BBTS had Alternator Bumblebee. He's was a Volkswagen Beetle. Remember that?

The only places I remember having those preorders were AHQ and HLJ... and both of those are noted for jumping the gun very often. :horse:

War Within - It's a comic series from Dreamwave that chronicles events that happened on Cybertron before what we normally consider G1. I've never gotten my hands on them, so I can't give you more than that. In the context of Titanium, the figures have Cybertronian alt modes, rather than the ones they were "reformatted" with on Earth. My understanding is the WW forms we've seen so far for Titanium match what was in the comics.
