    Hey guys,

I am in a situation, over at BBTS they are getting a big shipment of Takara Beast Wars figures, and among them is one of my holy grails, the Beast Wars Neo Heinlad,I have tried for 2 or 3 years now to find him only to get there too late. But they have him up for preorder for $25.

So my question is this, should I go ahead and preorder him knowing I will have that much less money for DotM figures next week when released. And like I said this is probably in my Top 3 Holiest Grails I want. What should I do?

?? Buy the Heinlad, and then buy ALL of the DOTM stuff later on clearance.

Buy what you want first man, and that sounds like the BW figure.

Considering the DOTM figures are going to be on clearance at one outlet or another...get the BW figure.

I've loved my Heinlad for 12 years now, he's a grand toy of a great character. Working alarm-clock + semi-mythological-animal + drunkard + infinitely powerful advanced timelord future-convoy + gun of "get drunk and extort cash"= one complete TF package

He really that hard to find?

I've really been wanting to get my hands on one, but I can't really afford to pay so much for it right now, or really even buy it online any time soon.

I advise that you should pre-order it if you want it.

For something thats roughly the size of a voyager class toy, $25 is a good price for an import.

No. ToyArena's had him in-stock for years, and they only want $23 for him.

I need to buy a new one one of these days. I had one, but the clock went bad and later my dad managed to break the goggles.

He can't be a "Grail' of yours if you are really having to decide on it or not.

Of course it can be. I can think of plenty of things that I consider to be grails (be they Transformers related or otherwise) that, even if the opportunity presented itself, I'd have to really think before committing to the buy.

DOTM is going to be around for at least two years.
Buy that grail. You may never have another chance.

Granted. However, I wouldn't think twice about a DotM Voyager or my Grail.

For $25, you can't go wrong with BW Neo Heinlad. Most of the DOTM stuff isn't going to be nearly as amazing as a mythical Beast-former with molded Testicles and an alarm clock function.

Buy Heinlad first. The DOTM stuff is still being produced and manufactured. There's going to be a lot of it, and it's all going to be very easily obtainable just like the stuff form the first two movies.

Oh I agree completely, I wouldn't find myself stuck between a grail and a mass release figure that will be everywhere for like...ever.

But there are definitely situations where one may just have to pass on that long awaited figure.

I still kick myself over the day my mom took to me a hobby store to get G1 Prime and Megatron MIB and instead I got overly excited by the COOL NEW toys they had there from the '86 movie.... I was so disappointed. I got Hot Rod, Kup, Gnaw, and Frenzy/Ratbat instead of Prime and Megatron.... Sigh... What did I know? I was only 11...

He's not that hard to find. I picked him up a few months ago for around $25 shipped on eBay.
