I think its interesting that bumblebee is the favorite of the movie, I would have guessed jazz! Hopefully this will get the bots more screen time in the next TRANSFORMERS movie. I think they should kill off bumblebee in the sequel, and shockwave should show up to take primes head! ALA Transformers#1-5 from the old school 80 issue comic series! Talk about a empire ending for TF's!
So I guess if Bay wants to dip into the GM pool for new additions he'll get even more cooperation which is cool, but aside from 'interest', it doesn't seem like the movie did a thing for sales. I guess time will tell when I go to a comic con and see forty yellow 09 camaros in the parking lot in a few years.
well that wasn't hard to predict!
That little survey was a commercial in itself lol....
What no luv for megs?
This should show Bay that we want more actual character development for the Autobots and the Decepticons themselves. I would love a more indepth look for a lot of characters in the second movie. Especially Starscream, Ironhide, and basically Decepticons in general. I think it is cool that the public seems to like the actual robots the best too! Good news!
It would boost sales if GM would mainstream Ironhide. Especially in farm and rural areas. What farmer or rancher wouldn't buy it. All I see here in west Texas as big huge fords and Chevy's. And yes I think the characters are more popular than the actors, hence Transformers.
I don't think GM's allowing it's dystopic-future alien jet past concept stages, but I'm sure if they do, the movie will help its sales
Good to see that outside the fandom people enjoyed the bots more than the people. Please let that translate to more developement for them in the sequels
So Mr. Bay, what does this tell you about which stars you need to work on more in future movies?
What? People who go to a movie called "Transformers" thought that the Transformers themselves were characters? No way.
Next you're going to try telling me that kids who've seen the movie like the toys.
I hope this leads to other car companies vying for product placement in the sequels.
that would be silly...unless there were toys of the actors then kids would want them.
Note to Bay: More Robots, less Humans. The polls have spoken
After seeing the movie, I wanted to buy people. I already have a nice car.
yeah in the next movie he's gonna be an aveo. nothing is more menacing than a daewoo
HA! HA! Take that Shia and Megan!
Precisely! Because not all Autobots were perceived better than the humans, just those Autobots with well developed characters.
Me too. Then it'll be more like the good old times.
I tried to buy Megan and Rachael ... but my budget didn't allow it.
