Only things I've found readable were:the Reign of Starscream, Transformers: Alliance and Tales of the Revenge of the Fallen #6.

Reign of Starscream is easily the best Movie-verse comic. I also enjoyed some of the Titan UK stuff, particularly 'Twilight's Last Gleaming'.

Pitiful, really, how most of this stuff is far better written than the movies they're based on.

These are my favorite comics these days. I like to wait for the TPBs. I just read "Foundation" but I still have to get the other DotM prequel...

Apparently not, as indicated but your extreme overreaction to someone's opinion. Who, for the record, I completely agree with. Please add something of substance to the thread though so we can have a discussion.

I like IDW's movieverse fiction more than their G1 storylines. I'm collecting all the trades from Amazon right now. My only gripe is that they seem to like killing off any characters who aren't in the movies.

I still am not not sure I understand what the whole point of Nefarious was.

I don't mind that. I can understand they don't want to kill of the major characters, and this way it makes it seem more realistic.

The story seemed like a good idea that could have been executed better...

Reign of Starscream made me love the Movieverse Starscream... in the comics, anyway. The film Starscream is still horrible, IMO. Foundation and Sector 7 were the saving graces of the entire Movieverse, reconciling all the skewed continuity established by Defiance and ROTF/DOTM. Alliance is pretty decent, if not just for Wreckage and the glorious Milne art.

But yeah, with the obvious exception of Nefarious, I can't disagree that the comics are far superior to the films, not to mention the ending of the DOTM comic...

I don't think I've heard of Convergence before, is it a UK title? I only know of Foundation and Rising Storm for DotM books.
I just went to the comic store and was planning on getting Rising Storm, but they didn't have it :(

Transformers Convergence is a little Prose story written by john barber for fix some of the final plot holes of the comics and the movies (like how the nemesis ended up in that Moon near saturn, How fallen was freed from his prision, Why Soundwave was in mars despite he was in contact with humans on earth, and why starscream have Space bridge in reign) and to show a bit more of simmons family and Soundwave Activitys on Earth During the entire space race mission

Convergence is a back-up material in the individual issues of the Dark of the Moon comic book adaptation (but is not included in the trade paperback collection of the adaptation). so if ya wanna read it. you have to buy the DOTM Adaptation
