Ahh crap.. So I have to go see Friday the 13th to get the REAL TF2 trailer goodness? My excitement for the Super Bowl just got knocked down a peg. At least I now know when to not take a piss.
Damn it... how can I convince the fiance to go to that one??
So, what happened with the first movie? They released pretty much every money shot before the film hit theaters.
I figured that would happen...
Then I hope nothing gets spoiled by the game trailer coming out on the 8th.
I'm willing to bet the only thing the game trailer shows are movie 1 robots, Megatron and the twins.
As i understood the marketing for the first movie.... Bay only controled the content of the trailers.... the TG spots were somone elses Fk ups..
Least it's good to know the Superbowl spot will be online Monday morning (For me)
Hey, at least he told us when trailer will air instead of having everyone sit through the Super Bowl that didn't want to watch it.
I now feel like the SB spot really isnt gonna show us anything. We'll have to wait for the one shown during Fri the 13th. He says that one wont be online until a week later, but im sure it will be on Youtube that night
Woo, teasery goodness.
And then hours of people complaining that it didn't show anything good.
Good point. The trailer for the first game only showcased Bumblebee and Barricade, and briefly showed Optimus. But could you imagine what would happen if it had premiered before the trailer for the actual movie?
I just wanna yell out like Nite Owl in Watchmen trailer - ''NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!''
The full teaser will be out on Friday the 13th and not online until a week later? Geez, could this be to get people to go see the Bay-produced Friday the 13th remake?
don't forget judging the entire movie by a 2 minute glimpse that shows nothing of any value.
My guess is that the first movie was considered more of a risk, therefore the advertising was a lot more forward and aggressive to get people to give it a go. Now that they know there's an audience, they can afford to be a bit more coy about it.
Still, it's a little annoying that we now won't get the full teaser online until the 20th...hopefully the Super Bowl spot will give us a few good tidbits anyway.
They'd probably lose the bid for movie 3.
Bay said "full length TEASER" will be attached to Friday the 13th. So, I would not get my hopes up for full length trailer goodness until...oh...let's say, June 25th at this rate...... *sigh*
That makes sense.
Well, it's called a teaser for a reason, so I'm sure there will be enough to get our TF pants to go bananas.
Just like the time he exploded about the HD-DVD exclusivity deal Paramount had agreed to. It was theorised that part of his fee would be a cut of home video sales, so HD-DVD exclusivity would cut him out of potential Blu-Ray sales.
