i dont think this is true. this might happen, but micheal bay also "confirmerd" before the frist one came out that the only surviving bots would be prime, red alert and ratchet. red alert wasnt even in the fuckin thing! and the back of megs box. micheal bay has said in q and a's before that he wants to keeo the plot as hush hush as posible, i think this is a pertial missleading teaser. but thats just me. please reply with what u think of what i said. like i say above, thats just me. and plus, megas hand is in it, and if u dont believe htats megs hand, look at the jag...treds!

 

If you look at the claw and the arm and check it against any image of Starscream, it's clearly not the same. Totally different claw, different number of fingers, totally different arm.

Now compare it with any picture of Megs - same twisted umbrella looking claw, same twisted metal looking arms.

Plus Starscream doesn't have tank treads for feet.

thinking of it in a "certain point of view" sance like in star wars, Bay is telling the truth.

He tells how we'll see him in the past, its THAT incarnation that doesn't get much screen time.

I think this whole misinformation thing is silly. If he wants to keep things under wraps he should just say nothing at all in regards to the plot. When asked specifics, use "no comment" when needed and just carry on from there during interviews. No need to lie, no need to create false info, it just seems like a waste of time to me.

I don't see why everyone's so upset about this. He's just being cheeky and having a little fun. Imagine creating something that you can't wait to unleash on the world and by the time you do, everyone already knows everything about it. It would be quite the disappointment. Good for you, Michael. I don't blame him for lying, but it should be aimed at the average movie goers, and not Transfans because we're stubborn, and most of us already know he's in the movie, and won't believe it if we didn't see him in the movie, If there's one thing he need's to know about Transfans is that were stubborn

The nerdrage is really ridiculous on this movie. Almost as ridiculous as it was for the first one.

 

First off this is my first post on this forum.....So Hi!  

As for what M.Bay said.
1. If it is Megs we see in the trailer looming over Sam it dos not necessarily mean that Megs is in the present. How you ask. One of the things Ive been reading here and other places is that Sam do to being so close to the All Spark now has knowledge about the history of the Transformers. What if that knowledge shows up as vivid hallucinations? This kind of gimk has been done in before in many movies, so it wouldn't be the first time.

2. A lot of you point to the toy box as prof that he comes back. So I ask how long have you been Transformer fans? In 86 when the Galvatron toy came out it didn't say he was the new Decepticon Leader it said he was there City Commander so as to cover up one of the plot points in the 86 movie. So if Megs dose not come back it would not be the first time that toys have been used for misinformation.

I point all this out not because I believe what M. Bay said or not as I don't know. I said this to point out to everyone that WE DONT KNOW! There are lots of things we could be wrong about, and just dismissing it, and calling this a Lie is a bad way to go. After all just month ago if you had said Megs was in the movie at all most of you would have jumped down there throat say he wasn't, and giving a hundred reasons why.

As to my feelings on this.....I for one hope this time bay is telling the truth. Why? Think about it we have a movie that's about 2 hours long. In it we need to fit the story of the Transformers history, Devestator, and the Fallen. Add to that what the Aotobots, and the humans are doing, and its really starting to look like to much one movie. Put Megs's story in there too, and no one is going to get any screen time, and thats REAAAALLLLYYYY BAD for you Decepcon fans as who's lines do you think are going to get cut first?

Oh, and just one more thing in closing VIVA LA OPTIMUS PRIME!!!!!
