I hope part of that is right. I would really dig seeing some more flashback Cybertron stuff and the mythology of the Primes. But yeah Bay is not being completely truthful, and we all know that. And he knows that we know that.
I am so glad I'm not the only one who thinks that. Maybe I've not been doing detailed enough frame by frame drawings and comparisons between every last detail and the toy ( ), but I never saw anything but a hand and some industrial machinery.

Didnt the toy bio say anything about Megs forming his newfound body from the killed decepticons that got buried with him? Hence the new body? Bay vs toybio.............
Word. I don't mean to be annoying folks, if there IS some pretty solid confirmation that Megs is in that scene, could anyone who has it let me see it please? I just see starscream.
I realize Bay is only trying to conceal Megatrons role in the film, attempting to save some kind of suprise for the viewers... which I feel is great. However, in this case Bay would have been more successful not saying anything. He could have easily enough said, "Megatron is back, in the present, with a big role". In a way I wish part of it was true, because i think discussing the histroy of the Primes would be sick! And its almost a nessicity if they plan on bringing the matrix into the mix. Overall im actually happy they are keeping things such a secrete, i stumbled upon the script for the first film and was an idiot for reading it. The only thing I want to see is the damn robot rosters!!!!!

Yeah, they stole the February 2006 draft of the first film's script. I'm impressed by this film's secrecy (the firewalls on Dreamwork's computers must be Pentagon-level now) despite there still being leaks.

i remember reading somewhere where sam has visions...maybe sam being held down is one of his hallucinations...i'm not going to call an all out liar...but remember he is also trying to keep his work on hush until the release
I think people are being a little sensitive. It's HIS movie so if he decides to release some information that is not correct and in your face then who are we to say anything? I mean seriously...he doesn't have to make these movies. We should just be happy that we are actually seeing these incredible toys/cartoons on the big screen kicking the crap outta each other. I understand the frustration of not knowing things about the movie, but to start insulting Mr.Bay is plain wrong. He was holding back the release of the info either for a good reason or just got busy to confirm earlier than now...give the guy a break...do you realize what it takes to make a 2.5 hr movie???? Here's something to think about.... what if Bay actually released misinformation in the teaser/trailer? Then we would all be screwed....
