I just double checked and it turns out that no, I still don't really care about the words that are coming out of Michael Bay's mouth.

He might as well be one of the adults in a Charlie Brown animated special: "Wah wah wahwah wah wah, wah wah wahwah."

"Oh, really, Michael Bay? That's soooo interesting. Tell us more."

 

Crap. At least what happens in the movie will surprise me... or not.

 

Pertaining to the leaked treatment, I hope his misinformation doesn't end up turning out better than the real movie.

Yeah, I'm willing to bet at least five fun bucks that the only false information is the fact that he's spreading false information. We can compare what happens in the film to all this "false" stuff later.

 

I think its absolutely wonderful,so we pretty much know all
the news about an Devastator is false,I never really liked G1
to start,that cheap neon green was to pukey looking.Go Bay
for confirming the false info.

 

this is the funny thing with saying you WILL release false info
just by saying that you will means that WHEN stuff dose leak you can just discredit it or you do release a couple of false things.

either way this makes people second guess themselfs
its clever but i still belive the peices of the puzzle will fall together
well before the movie comes out

The only thing more comical than fan-boy whining about any Transformers movie is the random tough "kick your ass through the internet" guy who has come to set order to things and shut them all up.

Lighten up, Francis. You should only have two or three more heavy flow days to go.

Ha ha, I know there are a lot of weird ways out there to put lead in your pencil, but I guess Bay's way is by seeing how big of a douche he can be. Most directors would be happy to have fans all excited about what they are working on while Bay acts you guys are something he scrapped off his shoe.

Plus really who thinks they are going to hold back the comic books, toys and other movie related goods until after the movie comes out. Unless you hide away in a cave somewhere we are all going to be spoiled before the movie.

Okay though if he needs false information how about making up something like:

"This movie is going to be more than just special effects and action, it's going to have story and character as well."

"The Transformers will look more like their iconic look."

"The Decepticons will not be jobbers this time, but a real threat to both the humans and Autobots."

"I'm breaking out as a director rather doing the same sort of film I've done over and over again."

"I really get Transfomers now and I'm going to stop being mean to it's fans."

Ha ha, of course I've got Animated now so why exactly do I need a movie from a director who wouldn't know character or story if it bit him in the rear. Think I might enjoy the fan wars over the movie better than actually watching the movie when it comes out.

 

Why should he stop being mean to the fans when the fans still do it themselves?

Heck, the moment he said he was going to toss out disinfo, was the moment I stopped believing anything out of his mouth. Not that I ever liked the guy's work in the first place. Will be nice to see what solid info comes out that he can't realistically refute, tho I'm sure he'll try. It is interesting watching the game of wits.
