Good commentary except for the "not a great episode" part. It was very great, IMO.

I second that. Unless you can hide your eyes from spoilers on the internet, don't risk it and just catch up.

I'd give it 3 out of 4. Just not enough real meat for me to give it more - mostly tying up old threads and just starting to lay down new ones (SB's quest, Cylon rebellion). It's looking to me like BSG is going with a very serialized S4, which it should be, but if thiswere a novel. Six of One probably wouldn't be anyone's favorite chapter.

Or #7 is one of the final five.

Right. That's the point. There are twelve left, we've seen models 1-6 and 8, meaning the final five are 7 and 9-12. Why not 1-7 and 8-12? Wouldn't that make more sense, since the F5 are supposed to be significantly different than the S7? It would imply there is something unusual about both #7 and #8 as they are separate from their proper groups, hence my wild (and very likely untrue) speculation that Boomer could be #7 - the final cylon. After all, you know the old saying - the best place to hide a needle is not in a haystack, but amongst other needles.

Hair of the dog means drinking alcohol to cure a hangover. The expression has an interesting origin as a rabies cure.

That would mean there are thirteen Cylon models.
    There are only twelve.
    Boomer is a #8 model.

No, only 12. Boomer as the 12th. One of the five hidden among the seven.

I usually don't mind about spoilers-see harry potter and half blood prince I was the one who just before paying read who died and started reading the begining. Im aware suspense and etc is just how I treat things.

that being said , is ist everything they cook it out to be? full of win etc etc etc?

I know I want to watch it the thing is , Im not sure wether Ill get catch up and follow the last run step by step, or watch the whole thing in a sitting....

Really is best viewed from the start. There is a lot of nuance that will be lost if you try to watch it now, and some very big spoilers that you won't want spoiled. Part of the series is a mystery, who is and is not a cylon agent, and knowing that ahead of time will kill some of the fun.

Based on the events scene in "Six of One", I am writing a very special all-cylon episode of BSG I plan on pitching to Ron Moore. I know time is tight, and they may not be able to squeeze it into the final 20, but if need be SFC can show it as another BSG movie like Razor.

I call it "Boomer Dances in Her Underwear".

Good greif dude! I could get into some trouble because you posted those pictures!

I'm starting to really feel that Baltar is an awkward Cylon breed. Like he was human and then... I dunno, died, then he got "ressurected" in a Cylon chamber.

Another interesting episode tonight. Looks like Tori is embracing her Cylon abilities.

Not sure what I think yet about Lee's new role in the government.

As for the ending, damm I can't wait to see what the chief's reaction will be next week.

I think this is the first episode where I just sat there stunned after that last scene. I still can't believe they did that. I hope that they don't make the chief a willing participant of this, though. I don't want to see Tyrol become evil.

I was shocked that they killed Callie, but not sad to see her go. I never liked her.

I'm not crazy about Lee as a politician. Hopefully it will go somewhere. It's obvious he'll succeed Roslin as president.

Kara seems more frakked up than ever. I wonder if the fact that a Final Fiver is on her ship is the reason she's having difficulty finding her way back to Earth? Maybe he's somehow interfering with her "feeling" for the course to Earth?

I got a kick out of Adama reading to Roslin. Bill and Laura make a cute couple, for a couple of old timers.
