    So, the upcoming free-to-play game from EA and Dice.

    I was accepted into the beta earlier today. I've been playing for the last few hours. It has some major promise. It is extremely fun. It has kind of a "Team Fortress" stylized look to it. The only real issues I encountered were connection issues everyone seemed to be having.

    This is something I'd love to play with some TFW'ers. So sign up for the beta if you haven't already!

    I remember reading about this way back when, so it didn't take much for me to sign up. Hope I get in soon. Interesting game.

    I haven't gotten into the beta yet, which sucks a whole lot. I've bought every single Battlefield game and expansion except the one for 2142. I still play 1942 atleast three nights a week and had a massive boner that went half flacid when 1943 was announced then the details came out.

    I'm using my friend's beta. For some reason it doesn't work for him.

    The launcher is horrible for me. Since its the BFHeroes.exe and rendering some 3d objects it runs at about 1 fram every 5 seconds. If it was full screen I'm sure I wouldn't have this problem (some random update made any 3d ap unplayable in windowed mode).

    As a long time BF player I kind of wish this didn't have the BF name attached to it. Its really fun from what I played but it's not a Battlefield game other than the basic game is Conquest. I do really like it and will be glad when I can actually make some use of the store, with it running so horribly in the launcher I don't dare mess with it. It's also something I could see myself dropping a dollar or two here and there to buy stuff.
