To me, this was the best part of thr film. After this scene everything sort of seemed rushed and not properly done and the movie went from potentially being a 9 or 10 to a 5 or 6.

Why wasn't more made of Prime's death? The Bots seemed to just shrug it off.

p.s. Sam is no Spike (or Buster for that matter).

So you call the Autobots being about ready to blow away most of NEST "shrugging it off"?

Yeah, it was the best. EPIC. Didn't ruin the rest of the movie for me though I was expecting a Obi One anikn light saber battle at the end. Primes death was not emotional at all. The '86 movie can bring a tear to your eye, this was like "did that just happen?"....Oh yeah, it did... now they are in Egypt.

They stood down at Lennox' command, they weren't gonna blow anything away. Bumblebee showed more emotion due to being left behind when Sam left for school.

On a more positive note, I love what they've done with Prime. He really kicked but and his charactorization is on point.

I felt his death was still pretty emotional considering everyone kind of knew he would be brought back some how.

The forest fight was abolutely crazy though. It was terrific seeing OP get some bad ass added to his character.

The emotions regarding Prime's death were shown with Sam and Bumblebee. Sam blamed himself for Prime's death and was in tears about it. Bumblebee was visibly distraught as well. Ironhide and the others were angry with the military for turning on them and didn't really have any time (at least not onscreen) to show remorse. Plus, there was plenty of emotion in the audience and that's probably where it was needed most.

I just think Prime deserved better. He's Optimus Prime for Pete's sake!

This film was a lot more cheesy than the 1st one. Sam journeying into the Matrix, no Autobot casualties, and juvenile humor at times made me feel like I was actually watching a CGI version of the 80's cartoon with less charactorization.

I don't know guys, it just started out so well for me and ended up being a dud.

No Autobot casualties? What about Optimus (he got better) Jetfire (honorary) and 2/3 of Arcee?

She counts (a little), but how do we know if she, it, them actually died? That wasn't very clear.

Is it me or did the Cons seem weak and less unified in this flick?

Well, for starters she blew up. I've found that often times that's fatal.

Maybe she did and I missed it,will have to catch it next time around.

If all Decepticons followed the Fallen, what is Megatron's purpose. Doesn't make sense to me.

"Fate rarely calls upon us at a moment of our choosing" is such a classis Optimus Prime line. I must give kudos to the writers for the way the captured our great leader's essence. Without Prime, I think I may hate this film.

Seen it twice already and It doesnt look as though Either of the Arcee "sisters" took fatal wounds. They got parts blown off. Most likely it was armour. It seems to take alot to KILL a Transformer even if they look fragile. Even Sam struggle to rip off the bugs head.

I totally agree. Good scenes, badly written film, like a pretty girl that can't cookand is lousy in bed.
