My goal with this figure was to take a relative unliked figure and turn him into something that most people would like.

I had originally only had done a silver dry brushing all over him to look like his paint had worn off in battle,I then posted him over on ProCustomizers and after a bit of encouragement from aprim,I set out to add more damaged to ala the bullet holes, cracks, and gashes in his armor.

Once that was done I then did another silver dry brushing and then a black dry brushing and was all over him,it gave him a very greasy/dirty look that I was looking for.

He is still transformable, thought just barely, his Ion Rifle comes from a KO G1 Hot Spot.

Thank you for taking the time to take a look, and I hope you enjoy!

Not without some serious heavy mods,I just do not want to even attempt that yet.

I agree.. I've been debating for a long time what I could do to make it better..
    I've given up on that..

    Great bot mode though!

The damage looks pretty good. How about some oil or energon spillage from those otherwise clean-looking wounds tho? In regards to the vehicle mode katch26 is right for the most part. Somewhere in the Radicons forums a few years back I saw a mod for the vehicle mode. It involved allowing the thighs to slide into the calves; shortening the overall length of the truck mode. It made a *huge* difference in appearance. It's a lot of work for something that Hasbro should have done themselves in the first place.

Looks pretty good! The robot mode looks very nice, though, it'll be an icy day in hell before someone makes that truck look good.

I like it, this figure definitely needs the touching up. If someone ever did mod this figure to actually save the alt mode, they'd be my hero.

It can be done, you use Classics/Universe Starscream's thighs and inner legs to do the collapsing legs, you would also need to do some heavy mods with styrene to his cab portion of the vehicle mode, but it could be done.

I won't be doing it since I put him up on ebay, but if I revisit this custom, and I probably will, then I will take the time to try and save the vehicle mode.
