Do you like them or not? I only like battle damaged toys if there's some retooling and massive detail of damage but that almost never happens so I usually don't like them.

I generally like that kind of stuff, and it's one of the things that made Kenner's Star Wars toys really cool. A lot of it was actually more general wear than battle damage per say, but it went a LONG way, be it for figures or vehicles.

I also collect GoDaikin and stuff and often, this is the best you can get for these types of toys. They have their own little charm.

Usually, no. Hasbro's idea of battle damage is painting half of a figure's face black.

    No.

If I want battle damaged toys, I'll do it myself.

The only good battle damaged TF that pops into mind is TFTM (allspark power?) battle damage jazz IMO

I think Final Battle Jazz from TFTM is the only one I have. And I kind of like him a lot. All the others seem kind of shittily done.

Battle damage done half-assed with paint apps, like on the original MP Prime or the Leader Prime retool, is lame. I hate how it's just little circles of spray paint while the rest of the figure is spotless. Battle Damage jazz was cool enough except the paint was, again, not great.

I gotta say overall I prefer no battle damage unless it has story significance. (like Animated Ratchet's crest of DOTM Megatron's face) I don't need my toys looking broken and dirty of a shelf.

I rather like them. I think the favorite that I have is the Movie 1 Voyager Prime. There is a lot of paint on that one and it makes the figure look really cool. That one they did right.

I'd love to see something like the old dino damage Kenner had in JP. A little bit of the bot you can take off revealing circuitry and such.

That Dino damage it still what I think off when I hear battle damaged toy.

I like the idea of battle damaged figures, and in some cases hasbro has pulled the idea off (i.e. final battle jazz), but aside from that, there haven't been too many good repaints.

Depends. I'd like to get my hands on a battle-damaged Darth Vader some day but that's about all I can think of.

    It's okay.

But I hate HFTD Prime's face damage. Looks more like a painting accident.

It's a hit or miss with battle damage paint schemes, but usually it's ugly, so no.
