My son's Battle Begins Animated Megatron leg keeps falling off all the time. I have been reading that this is common problem. Has anyone come up with a mod to keep that piece in place short of superglue? Thanks! :)

Ok, thanks. I guess I will repost there or can a moderator move it? :)

One of the mods can move this thread to the TF Toy Discussion. Just go to the Tech Support and request to have the thread move.

Use superglue or nail varnish on the balljoint to tighten it up.

Hey Sledge! Well, it's not the ball joint, it's the rotating part on the knee. Twist the leg to transform and it slides right out! Awful, truly awful!

Same thing will work. The problem is that the disc shaped part is a little too small for the slot it fits in. You use something like nail varnish or superglue to build it up a little.

Assuming I'm thinking of the right part. Haven't played with that figure for a while.

Yeah, that's the joint he's talking about. My BB Megatron has the exact same problem, although I haven't used that joint in the figure recently...

My son's been asking me to transform it recently. And everytime I transform it, that dang calf slides off! You'd figure with such a common and well known issue on that particular figure that they would've resolved it before manufacturing. :(  Looks like I'll have to MacGuyver something sturdy and block the piece from coming out while still allowing it to be played with/transformed. Thanks for the responses guys!

Mine did the same thing. Like sledge and burnout said, some clear nail polish will fix that perfectly. My Megs has quite a bit of the stuff keeping his various leg joints tight but still perfectly transformable. One or two coats. Let them completely dry and pop them back into place. Very simple without a whole lot of MacGuyvering. :lol

Yep, that's what I did on one calf, one hip, and the shoulder ball joint that had the cannon to tighten him up, no problems since.

I also took some nail polish remover and removed most of the battle damage as well.

What if the problem is that the little ass burgers leg falls of at the knee?

I'm pretty sure his knee works on the same principle, just a different shape. I don't have the figure here at work but I'm pretty sure I had to put polish on the knee joint too.
