Anyone read and enjoyed this uber-cool crossover comic? i loved it since i was 10 when i read them and later bought it in a trade paperback as it's one of the most badass Batman stories i've read thanks to David Gibbons.

So what if it's Predator 2 with Batman instead of Glover and in Gotham instead of LA? who cares but it was a logical battle between hero and alien.

I read all of them. The first was actually surprisingly good, considering the cheesy nature of the crossover. The rest didn't live up the first one, though.

The first one was actually one of my favorite Batman crossovers. Alfred rocking the elephant gun and the panel with Bruce in the armor holding the Louisville slugger. All these years later and i still remember those scenes.

Man if that ended with Batman getting a Predator's cloaking device......awesome.

Yeah, the first one was fantastic, and had awesome art by Andy Kubert.

The second was "okay" and I don't think I ever got around to reading the third.

On the topic of Batman vs. Predator; the "Batman: Dead End" Fan Film should be required viewing by fans of either character.

I think what nailed that series as something diffrent was the factthat Batman got utterly trounced by the Pred the first time they fought. For one of the few times ever, he was completly unprepared for that fight. Second time around thou :ev:

Who else thought the idea of Predator fighting Batman made sense as much as Aliens is to Superman?

I remember buying the original issues when they were released and they were not that bad.

I bought this back when it came out and I loved it. Was not a big Batman fan at the time, but I really enjoyed this story.

Batman Aliens was cool also, particularly the supervillain hybrids.

I would have thought that Predator would kill Batman without a problem whatsoever? Predator is the ultimate hunter. Batman is a night stalker, a MAN in a suit. He has nothing in his artillery that can hurt Predator. NOTHING. Fun idea, but seriously he stands zero chance imo. Batman doesn't even use guns, at least Arnold Schwarzenegger had an m16 with a M203 grenade launcher LOL.

If you're talking movie Predator(s) vs movie Batman (any), then I'd agree, but comicbook Batman (at least pre-flashpoint) would be more than a challenge for the Predator.

Honestly, I can buy Batman dealing with an intergalactic hunter. It seems like something that'd actually happen to him. Aliens vs Superman feels really forced though, yeah.

The first fight with the Pred almost killed Bats. It was only thru sheer luck he got away.
And the most dangerous man in DCU. Even Superman has stated this.
And he knew it, so he went to work on giving himself an edge and hence came up with a sonar suit of armor that had all sort of build in gadgets. It took away the Preds biggest advantage, his cloak, and put them on an even playing field.
    No but Alfred does :ev:
The second fight was all about negating the Prediators advantages. Once Bats beat him down, he commited seppiku, and Batman was aknowledged as the victor.

Ah, well Batman and a Predator have never faced off in a real, non-fan-made, movie...and this is the comics forum, so...
