I just recently re-read Loeb and Sale's Batman books, and I'm hunting for a new Batman figure. What are your favorites?

My favorite batman figure is the Phantasm figure from the BTAS Mask of the Phantasm movie.
I have two of her, one opened and one unopened in my display case.

I like the blue DCUC Batman figure that came in a two pack with Batgirl. The face is a little weird but I like the blue and gray plus he's got the nifty pouch utility belt.

If you like the animated style either the BTAS Combat Belt Batman, the Mask of the Phantasm Retro Batman, or the TNBA Batman figure (might be Detective or something) are the best of that bunch.

My favorite Batman is from a TRU 2 pack with him and Robin. It's in the 6" scale and he has a huge cloth cape. He would be perfect if he had lateral hip movement.

Also, you can't go wrong with a Hot Toys Dark Knight Batman.

the Gotham by Gaslight figure from a few years ago is my favorite. Not the most posable, but the style appeals to me more than most other Batmen.

DCUC Batman- Any of them really. I like the black and gray one best, but the blue and gray is pretty nice too.

I really like the Kingdom Come Batman figure.
i have been collecting the BTAS line and my 2 favorites from that is the Batman with Bruce Wayne outfit and the original batman in the first wave.

i heard that DCUC was releasing a Batman Beyond. IIRC that line is slightly smaller than the BTAS, but i think because of Terry's age and all, he might fit into my collection and be in my top 3.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. :thumb  Yeah, with how popular Batman is, I type "Batman toys" into Amazon or Google and I'm like :jawdropper:  woah. That's alot.

I've really been eyeing the Arkham Asylum Batman too as a bonus. :D

I love my DCUC black and grey Batman, as well as my Hush Batman and Long Halloween Batman.

I like the Movie Masterpiece TDK Batman, even cooler with Bat-Pod, but it doesn't seem to fit in with what you want.

Other than the all I have a old Batmen that have like, 5 point of articulation.

Does anyone have the SDCC '08 exclusive Batman? Looks like he has decent articulation. Kind of a TDKR thing going on with him. But from what I can tell, it's just a straight re-paint of the Batman and Son figure. Anyone know if it's any good?

It is a really nice figure. I have it, but I didn't open mine since it was signed by Adny Kubert. But for all intents and purposes, it looks like a really cool figure, but I'm sure you can expect normal DCD levels of articulation though.

I don't have a Batman figure but if I were to buy ONE then this would be my favorite.

Here's the two I own from DC Direct. Both are Alex Ross design which was the biggest factor for me. First up is Batman from Kingdom Come and the second one is Batman from Justice.

As nice as the Batman and Son figure is, I have to highlight that the articulation is limited. It has only the basic articulation i.e. arms and legs and the arms can move sideways - there have been reported breakages.

Yup, DC Direct figures are total crap. Paint rubs off, joints break easily, limited articulation, the list goes on and on.
