From what I've gathered, (from the big "ARKHAM ASYLUM" gate in front of the city with armed guards patrolling out front) Arkham is now part of the city, and the inmates have started to run wild. So it does take place in Arkham Asylum, but the Asylum is now a part of the city.

 

I'm kinda confused on the arkhamhasmoved thing.

Is it a joke like the inmates have been running rampant around Gotham or does it mean that there are temporary holding facilties around the city now?

EDIT* Wow Splitlip was already thinking the same thing.  

 

If Arkham was located on The Narrows, then they can easily use the rest of the area.

 

It seems to be like that, RW. I guess Arkham Island was deemed unsafe after Ivy's titan plants punched holes in it.

The first game got universal praise. You really need to check it out.

Though, replayability is REALLY bad...

 

I don't know about that. I rented the game twice and played through it twice and had just as much fun the second time around. I'm hoping Santa gives me the game for Christmas because I'm dying to play it again.

 

I haven't replayed it yet. I decided to take a long break after I beat it the first time so that I don't remember too much and get bored easily.

 

That's definitely Mark Hamill's voice in the trailer. Definitely a good sign that he's returning.

 

Better start saving money now, Arkham, Reach and WFC.

Not surprising but still awesome to see / hear.

 

YES! Day 1, no question.

I played through AA on normal then went right back in to replay on hard (not something I usually do back-to-back but I was just having so much fun being the Batman!).

As for the new trailer it certainly looks like they relocated AA into a walled off part of the city. It looks like a war zone in there, damn is that going to be fun.

 

Ah, okay, that makes more sense. The initial trailer linked to in this thread was rather low-res so I could really only make out Harley, the Joker, and some general mayhem when I made my first post.
