the E3 demo showed batman outside of arkham with a bunch of cops... or was that a different location in the game..... ?

 

I believe it was stated we'll eventually get more free-roaming access to the entire island, including a secret batcave located under the Asylum itself. Chances are, we'll step outside plenty enough.

 

I played the demo and I wish there was more that I could do in it so I could get a better feel of the game. So far though, I like this, it's a stealth game where the enemies can be a real threat if you dont approach them carfully. The brawl action reminds of Prince of Persha Sands of Time combat with a neat counter attacks.

I hope that later on the game though the stealth wont be so simple. It seems Arkam is filled with convient gargolyes for me to fly up and hide to.

 

Just pre-ordered my from Amazon while that $5 code is still good.

 

You can grapple onto more than just gargolyes. I was able to fling myself all over the place.

And yes, I would love a free-roam level for this.

 

I really enjoyed the demo after playing it last night! Can't wait for the game, I've had it preordered at GameStop for a couple of months. Getting the uber set w/ the 14" Batarang

theres no way to blast through that weak wall in the room zsasz is in is there?

 

How do you break the glass from the top when you are stalking the four guards near the end?

The detective sensor says you can break weak glass from the top but I kept trying different things and nothing worked.

 

yeah nothin works that i can try either. i also found a window with a question mark on it. wonder what that means. probly find out in the full game  


i do like how the music is kinda Dark Knight-ish  

 

Yeah the music rocks. And I love how Joker keeps talking crap over the loud-speakers.

 

You stand over someone and it gives you an option to do a takedown in which you fall through the glass.

Just did it during my last playthrough. Took out the last thug doing it.

 

Tried it on the PS3 earlier today, pretty nice, i could see the combat getting a little boring but not to bad i don't think.

And Conroy and Hamill Make up for any short comings  

 

The demo is so much fun. This is the Batman game we have been wanting. Makes it even better that TAS voice cast is on there. Mark Hamil is the best.
