Started DL-ing at around 10 PM last night, didn't finish until around 3 AM after I was sleeping. Will play it later today.

I love watching the reamining guy just freak out after I take down the other criminals in the last room. His movements are just hilarious as he is swinging his gun around wildly or firing random shots. Sneaking up on him and using the slient take down is so damn entertaining!

This time around I just started following the last guy all over the place. I loved messing with him. I just kept throwing batarangs on the ground next to him and watched him get all startled. Then I just stalked him by hiding behind walls and under floorgrates.

Same here. I started the download and popped in a movie to watch. I fell asleep though and at some point in the night I woke up and turned off my 360. Hopefully it downloaded fully lol.

Same here. I set it to go, made a sandwich, chatted with my cousin. Checked and it was at 50%, then let it go and it dinged a few minutes later. Wow, that story was so boring.

Man, this is fun. I have to be careful, though. Sometimes I'll forget there's a guy behind me and pounce on a dude, only to get my health shot away, barely escaping within an inch of my life. I love the scare-tactics. Just screwing with them. So satisfying.

I pre-ordered the collector's edition. That way I get both bonus challenge maps.

Is there a middle edition that isn't 100 bucks? Like one without the metal batarang but with the maps? I can't wait to play the Joker Mission.

The delay is only like a week or so though isn't it? As one of the perks of live along with deal of the week I think it's a good way to help people swallow having to pay so much for live

There should be, but no. It's all or nothing.

Me, personally, I don't mind the $100 price tag, It's not outside what I'd be willing to pay for the extra stuff it somes with. Besides, I love novelty stuff.

I always like taking out everyone else all silent like first, and leaving the last guy all paniced and stuff before going over and beatin him down old school like. I wish there was a shoulder tap button so I could spin em around and clock em in the face as I did it. :lol

Nah, I'm not taking it to the "which is better" deal. I just think that isolated element sucks. I understand (even if I won't do it) paying for Gold for a better overall experience, but these are demos. They MAKE people shop, spend, support. Why limit their exposure? It's like TV stations limiting their commercials to only people who own certain TVs... The Clients would be pissed because they need the exposure.

Ahem, and just to show that despite preferring my PS3, I can see faults in both, PS3 has released demos that only people who bought the ORB magazine could download, so they aren't without flaws.

I really want the SE, I really do, but I need to save my mula for Dragon Age's SE. That Metal Baterang is the SHIT though.

Can any of you guys tell of the cinematics were real-time? I know they are using the game's engine, and you could even see some tell-tale jaggies, but with so many local changes, I found it hard to believe that the entire intro was being rendered on the fly. If so, that was very very very impressive, especially the excellent use of normal mapping and crazy lighting.

The video effects make me want to say pre-rendered, but I wouldn't be surprised if they were real-time.

    pretty sure they're pre-rendered

a couple spots are kinda pixelated like it wasnt rendered at a high enough resolution
