About the only connection I can see between the two is the purple suit, honestly. The two interpretations were so far from one another it isn't funny.


Truthfully, I felt that Ledger's Joker, on my first viewing, was shit. I honestly didn't like him at all because he sounded like a cold psychopath all the time. He didn't seem like he was enjoying himself as the Joker should.

In fact, my favourite Joker is the one voiced by Mark Hamill in Mask of the Phantasm.

It was the voice. That horrible nasally voice he was doing in the role, reminded me of Romero's Joker. I swear there was something else he did in the movie that reminded of Romero, but I'd have to watch it again, to be sure. I just wasn't that impressed with TDK Joker.

 

That is pretty slick. I'm pretty sure they'll have a new Batmobile next movie, but I wonder if they're going to make it big and bold like the Tumbler was or something more streamlined and compact (like it was in B:TAS, for example).

oh and there's still batpod , but I think it would be quite surprising if Batman wouldn't get a new batmobile

 

best i can think of thats like romero is when he does that whooping excited noise... but thats about it...

Hell yes. Makes up for the piece of shit Twilight film that will be filming in Lousiana next year.

 

I'm sad that the Joker isn't returning for the third film... but I respect Nolan for making the decision. Heath Ledger is now the DEFINITIVE live-action Joker as far as I'm concerned. I'm sad to see him go, but I understand that no one could pull off the Joker like Ledger did.

So, I'll miss ya, Joker. Maybe they'll show a newspaper article front page showing the Joker behind bars in a big fluffy room. Maybe even a mention that he was put to death. There'll definetly be some mention of him.

 

I'd personally prefer David Suchet as the Penguin.

 

I agree if Nolan won't use the Joker is Batman 3, Heath did the preformance of the decade, i see more fan-rage if they replace Heath Ledger. It's time to give JGL a shot as the Riddler. Haven't seen Inception but he was the one few good actors in GI JOE ROC.

That would actually make a good Batmobile.
