    One of Hollywood's talented composer, Basil Poledouris lost his battle with cancer.

    No way... I love his music, Conan the Barbarian is the best score I've heard ever...

    And I was hoping one day for King Conan with a Paledouris score. 2 of my favourite composers (Michael Kamen died in 2003) have died in the last few years now.

    Michael Kamen, Jerry Goldsmith, and now Basil. I guess John Williams and Hans Zimmer have their work cut out for them now.

    Oh damn. I didn't know Kamen was gone too. Poledouris's soundtrack for Starship Troopers was so wild.

    Guh. That's a real shame. You'll be missed, you awesome composer of sweeping symphonic scenery.
