So I am working on a kitbash involving an Armada Unicron and ran into a bit of a snag. To anyone who has done one, how the heck do you remove the planet bits on the legs? I've already removed the shell and missle workings but I can't get to the pin. Has anyone had much luck with this? Thanks for any help.

Doesn't the leg part click into position? It must have some sort of ratchet. Try taking apart the legs themselves.

Well I have taken the leg apart. The problem stems from the "spring loaded metal capped pin thingy."(I'm sure that is the internal jargon used at Hasbro.) The one located in the recessed portion in the interior of the leg the attaches the planet portion to the leg itself.

you need a soldering iroon, take apart the legs aas much as you can, and you should see the metal pin that attaches the planet piece to it. Keep warming the pin until it starts to separate both parts (it have a spring so it will start to make pressure)

I am doing something similar, and I am not using the planet parts on my bash, so the ol' dremel just cut the plastic from around the pin (on the orange leg part) and the rest falls off as soon as you get that off. Hope this helps.
