Yeah, but we didn't get a funeral/eulogy speech. Usually, we'll actually see them die. If they go through the heroic sacrifice and no one confirms the death, we'll usually see them in a hospital bed recovering. "It was touch and go there for a bit, but we were able to save you/you didn't give up."

Though we could see the next episode pick up almost immediately after. Ratchet could be yellowing out random medical terms and we'll lose him in the first five minutes.

It's still iffy. I'm leaning towards him surviving.

 

I almost want him to die, but the show may also seem a bit weird without him in it...

 

He wil die. I'm hoping for it at this point. Aside from the flashback, there were two lines of dialogue that confirmed to me he will die. I say replace him with Hotshot.

 

I like him too much to see him killed off in the mid-season break  

 

I really do want him to live. Fuck, that flashback sequence made me sentimental.

Also, why do we have a goddamn "Bulkhead's gonna die" thread every week? Even when we acknowledge we have too many?

 

From a plot standpoint, it would be a lot more interesting if he did die. But I'm pretty sure that he is going to make it. Reason being that the Autobots really can't afford to lose anyone given that they are severly outnumbered. However, I'm pretty sure that he's going to be in a "robo-coma" that will necessitate some kind of quest to find an artifact or something that will heal him up. Given that the cliffhanger centered around him, it would be kind of a waster for Ratchet to just revive him in the next episode. Right....? Although, for those of us rooting for his death....a small tidbit: I believe that the in-package pics of the cyberverse Ultra Magnus figure showed his function to be "Heavy Munitions". I believe that Bulkhead's card has him with the same function. Replacement......????

 

He may hang in there for awhile, but I don't see BH making it, unless BH is put on life support.

Anyway I think by now with the flashbacks and such in the episode it looks like he'll be biting the bullet this time or at least be in a major coma for the rest of the season.

 

I actually kind of hope not. I would feel kind of cheated if he lived because then they are now probably taking a break. If they let him live, then that break would be for nothing. But since hey put all of those flashbacks with Miko and Bulkhead, I think he's actually going to die.

 

If he dies, he dies and will be missed if he doesn't....stop prolonging the enivitable.

 

Meh, good riddance if he is gone....The writers didn't even give he an honorable death. Standing up and win against "3" insecticons while loosing energy due to much longer exposure to that toxic energon is hardly believable seeing how they were in their 1st two appearances and by right he should've been torn apart!

So to turn around and portray "Soft-shell" like this makes no sense. They shouldn't have made the Insecticons that strong to begin with...

 

Those flashback scenes imply his death... But he will live forever in our heart even if he dies.

 

Well see, Bulkhead sort of seems like the Chloe of Transformers. We may love him to pieces, but there's a reason why he never made it to the history books.

They always do this, lead you to think a character is dead, and then they come back.
I honestly want him dead, an Autobot needs to die.

 

I would be okay if he's out of action /on life support for a long time to allow Wheeljack to become the new member of the 5-man team (as they seem to like keeping the cast small, look at Breakdown being removed about the same time Dreadwing entered).

I'll be okay if he dies, I'll be sad, but I'll accept it. What I really don't want is for him to be fixed up and ready to go in one episode. He should take a good amount of time to recover as he did carry a strong toxin for a long time all the while having a tough battle.
