And all I can say is this...
And I'll never recognize his big fat steroid-inflated head for it. Remember kids, cheaters never win!
And his dealer threw a party
Steroids or not, he still had to hit the damn thing. I'd like to see anyone of you hit just one home run. Let alone 756.
Yeah, only they would have been landing in the outfield instead of over the wall...
hitting a ball, and hitting a ball far enough for a home run are very different things. steroids kind of negate that difference.
I just wanna know who suckered poor Henry into taping that "congrats"
thats wah mah fave baseball player is dennis quaid.
Not true at all. Many homerun hitters were small players. Its obvious that many of you have never even hit a baseball, let alone one being thrown 90+ MPH.
Yeah, you are right. Only three years of teeball, three years of little league, two years of junior high, two years of j.v, two years of varsity, and one year of college.
I, and all these other dumbasses obviously don't what we are talking about.
And as for the comment about small guys, yeah, a lot of smaller guys can smack the hell out of a ball. Too bad Bonds didn't hit nearly as many homeruns unti he started juicing and got 30% bigger. So, Bonds isn't one of those guys.
And with this act, the debate will go on for eons...
Yes but were those players able to hit said homeruns without steroids at the age of say, 40 when bodies are supposed to be on the way down?
Just look at him, he was a really scrawny dude back then!
Here's some sports comics touching upon this issue that some may find amusing:
Bonds hit over 500 homeruns (1 of only 22 players in MLB history) by the age of 32. Well before his bulk. I don't claim to know that he did or didn't use steroids. But the stats don't lie. He was and is a great homerun hitter with or without them.
I dunno where you got the stat of him hitting over 500 HRs by the age of 32 but according to that chart in your link, he hit 374 by the age of 32. And he hit 382 AFTER 32 years old.
I don't care about the record, to be honest. It's been broken before, and it'll (eventually) be broken again. I just want Bonds off my damn TV and radio. I'm sick of hearing about the guy, the 'roids, the HGH, all of that. Test his ass, ban him, and throw him in jail if necessary. JUST DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE STEROID PROBLEM SO WE CAN ALL PUT IT BEHIND US!!!
Just play ball and forget about that juiced up freak.
Scratch that. You guys are the experts.
I hope he retires tomorrow.
