Tooday, I decided to go get a TF to celebrate the 25th anniversary. I wanted to get at least one of these three if possible: Universe Cyclonus, Animated Waspinator, or Animated Wreck-Gar. I wen to two Targets, one Wal-Mart, and a Toys R Us. Both Targets as well as Toys R Us had barely any toys and the Toys R Us truck was done loading when I went there. Meanwhile, at Wal-Mart, only waves 2-4 of Animated and barely any Universe. I asked to myself what was going on here. Does anyone know what is this about? What a bummer of 25h anniversary I had. At least I brought TFA Arrival Paperback from my library.
The stores are not stocking in anticipation of the Movie toy rush. They are not going to miss out on the profits this time like they did with TF1.
Well, there's always HTS and other internet places to get money. I myself unwittingly got Alternator Skids just in time to celebrate the 25th today after winning him on the 'bay.
Coincidentally, I got my Powered Commander in the mail today. Celebrating 25 years by busting open an unofficial add-on product!
I just pre-ordered ROTF Optimus, BB and Soundwave from TRU.ca for 40% off, just 3 hours before they were pulled from the site.
I have a HTS account. However, Cyclonus is the only one available one, of the three, I want on HTS. RoTF may be right around the corner, but Hasbro going overboard with it and the two other lines that do a better job pleasing fans are suffering due to it.

You should have bought them when they were widely available. Both in stores and online. So it's not the movie's fault you didn't find anything.
Join the club, I haven't found a new tf in 2 months, 2 MONTHS I'm going through freaking plastic crack withdrawl.
I know the feeling man all stores have near me is Animated and a few Universe Voyagers theres a few Animated figures I still want so its no big deal but im still trying to save until I find Cyclonus & Hound but dont look like thats gonna happen thank god I got Power Rangers if I need a crack fix . oh and I only found Cy and Hound once and didnt have the money to buy em then and haven't even caught a glimpse of them since
You waited too long to get Cyclonus - that's not really the movie's fault. And neither the Animated Deluxe nor Voyager lines are getting cut (yet, unlike Universe), but Waspinator and Wreck-Gar are both relatively new figures that aren't found everywhere and sell well because of the characters they represent. That's the fault of the stores and/or yourself.
Just two weeks ago, I saw a whole group of wave 6 stuff in stores. Now all of them have only up to Wave 5 and only three to seven products on the pegs. Well, since I go to college, take care of a cat, and work part time and use that money for all the aformeentioned stuff, I usually buy one to two TF's per month. January- Onslaught February- Universe Dinobot March- Animated Aerotwins April- Nothing May- Nothing so far I don't have an Ebay account and ask my sister or mom who have E-Bay accounts to buy the old TF stuff. I could only do that once in a while.
The stores are clearing out their warehouses to make room for more movie product. I expect another 18-month reign of Movie toys and repaints. At least this time I can get my hands on Classics Superion and Bruticus (screw the packaging!)
Again, you waited too long. Chosen speaks the truth. Cyclonus is long gone from stores and I picked up Waspintor when he was still on the pegs. You also can't blame the movie on not finding Wreck-Gar cause he's a bitch to find in the first place.
It is too bad if you didn't have the cash to buy the cyclonus when it was available... I think it is hard to find from any TRU, Target or Walmart in my area , too. Wasp and Wreckgar shouldn't be too hard to get ... It is actually too bad in our Market environment that new and hot stuff usually don't last on their shelves for very long.
Shhesh... I make one litteobservation and the whole world goes against me. Mods, can you lock this before it gets too ugly?
