I was looking at some commercials of those handheld games that were popular in the early 2000's. I remembered one that was based on robots. You would scan the barcode and you would get a new robot or part. Does anyone know what this game was called, I've been looking and can't find this game.

I think the newer Digimon cards had something like this, but I don't recall if those Digivices were based on the card scanning or if that was just a perk.

I remember seeing Barcode Battler commercials and thinking it looked so cool. I wanted to go to a grocery store and start scanning boxes of cereal and stuff just to see what would happen in the game. Never got one though.

I looked at the Skannerz, but that wasn't it. It was only robots.
