Bank robber hires decoys on Craigslist, fools cops | The Social - CNET News
The guy did his homework, no one was killed, let him go. I can't see killing someone over money especially if they're desperate.
And he made a getaway in an inner tube. Dramatic >:|
Amazing. I like criminal stories that almost make you root for the guy.
That's pretty smart.
A journey downriver on an inner tube is in doubt (Monroe robber at large; inner tube escape unlikely) but that's a nifty heist he put together.
It's the craigslist ad that will bust him.
No fatality bank robbery?
Escape on an inner tube (tyre?) through a creek?
I love this guy!
Crime is bad etc, but that's totally awesome.
Good to see a criminal using his mind for once, and doing the whole thing without any fatalities.
Yeah, problem is, we're now going to get a whole bunch of knuckle heads trying to copy him...
Boardwise did it.
So I'm not getting the job, then? Guess I better put the safety goggles up.
wow that is actually really awesome
Reminds me of that film 'The Inside Man' or whatever its called
I did not.
And you have no proof to back up your claim.
Now if you'll excuse me I have to go and count my money.
If there was a "good" kind of crime, this would be it. Old school basic bank robbery but with a creative twist/zany skeem. No one hurt, no guns, drugs, etc, just a plan and the balls to pull it off.
The Joker in training,lol.
Well someone got pepper sprayed, people looking for good honest work got duped and had their time wasted, the guard who was so easily duped might lose his job and there is no knowing how many people are dependent on his wages.
Still props for comic book mastermind creativity
Good luck with that. Guy probably registered a new account and posted the ad from a library. He'll never get caught.
It was me...shh though
