I will say it's the most articulated rx-78 I have ever owned. I don't have any of the models anymore, but it can look straight up, it looks a bit odd unless it's in a flight pose, the chest has essentially butterfly joints for the shoulder, and articulated toe joints. The hands on the anime version are far superior to the ones from the Rd #78 release. Downside is if you want some of the specific accessories, you'll have to get other figures
hi between the hgcu freedom gundam revive and the robot damashii freedom gundam wish one you believe its better ? i like to pose the figures and to be durable but also like the experience of building and the price hahaha but i dont want to buy something that been posing it broke i have some models but all of them have broken been posed ??
Robot Damashii figures are roughly 1/144 scale. They're technically "non-scaled" though, so they can occasionally be inaccurate relative to other machines.
There you go, get the Robot Damashii, roughly same scale, if not very close and much more sturdy than the kit.
Oh man, I actually have both but I er, mis-placed my Revive 1/144 RX...I left the model with the Char's origins 1/144 in my office and during my office shift, it got misplaced... IMO I find the articulation on both to be comparable...I can't recall anything that particularly remarkable about the it. It was a fun build but I dislike the 'plug-in' holes on both fore-arms...its kinda distracting for me. I would simply recommend the RD figure unless one doesn't like the anime look. Yeah, I got to agree with you...I kinda dislike how they split the RX's various weapons amongst the various releases.
Get the RD Freedom Gundam, it will not disappoint you. There is a Strike Freedom (2.0) coming, but it is going to come in the Metal RD line. It is slightly possible the metal strike freedom will be released as a standard Rd without the metal. But there has been no official mention of this possibility, I say it is a possibility simply because the Hi-Nu Gundam was originally a metal Rd and was later released as a standard non metal release. Currently no other metal Rd has been released as a standard Rd besides the Hi-Nu. The first strike freedom is a floppy mess that simply by today's standards, is not worth the money in my opinion. If falls apart and the dragoon armatures just get loose with a few movements. The sculpt isn't all that sharp and the size is smaller than the current releases. The Rd freedom is almost a head taller than the Rd strike freedom. The metal Rd strike freedom will match the current size and proportions and have hopefully better joints and articulation. Without a doubt the gold joints will look 1000x better because they are actually metallic not the terrible molded gold plastic that just never looks right.
thanks i cant get the metal one to expensive for my taste for something so small if i found the strike at 30 maybe i would pick himm
hi again guys do you know where i can find a size comparison of the extended msia wing zero to the normal one and robot damashii?
Was there even an EMSiA! Wing Zero? You can try a google image search. The RD should be a little bigger overall but the biggest difference is in feel. EMSiA! are predominantly PVC whereas RD use some PVC but more harder plastics like ABS, POM and also some diecast metal where appropriate.
The ball is in the house! Lol, seeing preorders for the web shop exclusive ball on eBay currently around $34 shipped and upwards to $40. Doesn't look like a multi pack like I was hoping for but at that price I can pick up two or three no problem. Also looks to come pretty bare for accessories which is slightly good meaning there isn't some exclusive weapon for the Gundam included.
