...yeahh so i get a call from my dad, whos at an antique show, saying he just bought seven transformers (he's posititive they transform), made by bandai, ranging from the early nineties, and i think the latest one was 2003. all i know is one has six wheels, and one is a rat.
..anyway, can anyone offer me some thoughts/opinions about bandai "transformers"? and what they could potentially be? the woman he bought them from knew nothing about them, so they're probably just what was popular/cheap.

If they are bandai products, they are definetly not transformers. Can be anything from macross to power rangers to some kind of Japanese anime toys gundams etc. Pic would help.

^totally agree with the others, Power Rangers came to mind right off the bat, with Gundams a close second.

Do you have any further discriptions at least?

    hah yeah..
i know takara/tomy and hasbro are the main producers, but i didnt know if bandai took over for a little bit or something.
damn, you have no idea how disappointed i am
he was 115% percent positive they were genuine tranformers.
should've asked him to look for an autobot/decepticon symbol =P

It was called Machine Robo and had two followups (Rescue and Mugenbine) in the last decade.

Well, if there's a Wolf, Bear, Eagle, Crane, Toad, and...uh, some other red animal, you might be able to form Ninja Megazord from the original PR movie, who's pretty bad-ass to me (and he can DANCE in the related Sega Genneis game)

    hey, i feel his pain.
we all should. you guys know how many times you asked mom or dad or aunt Ruth for a TF for your birthday and didn't think for five seconds how much you confused them.
and you've seen these people in a store with a sad face and muttering out loud, "this all looks alike..." and they grab the
    "transforming" PR toy.

anyhoo, i hope the old man did buy something that is actually kinda valuable in other ways, to make up for it not being the real deal TFs.

    good luck.

When I was young (we're talking 20 years ago) My dad would bring me exactly what I wanted even though I wasn't aware yet that I wanted it! He went on business trips to the USA and bring me back awesome TF's (jetfire) or much later TMNT (stuff we've never seen in Europe). That was the best!

iDD........... ah the good ol' days! He-man, TF's....

You'd hit the jackpot if somehow he bought the original megazord. It's worth a crapload now.

ok, well, five days later, he came home.
he was wrong about them all being bandai, i guess he couldn't find the stamps.
three of them turned out to be tf's!
below are pics of the tf's, i didn't bother with anything else, as they are all unbreabaly loose jointed or missing tons of parts.

The text links aren't working. Try putting the [pic] endcaps on them or something.
