Really nice review / video. Only thing im not liking about it is, that he has a G1 styled head and a movieverse styled body / alt mode. Other then that, the KRE-O's look pretty interesting.

*walmart has a pretty interesting markiting for the Kre-O line with "build videos" here:

*not to highjack thread either, just putting it out there for others to see*

Awesome review, really like the montage, and I'm quite surprised by the Kre-o, I might have to reconsider and buy this.

Good review, I'm going to have to buy me one of these. Probably not Bumblebee, though. Maybe Sideswipe or Megatron.

I know a 6 yro (my nephew) who will hopefully spend lots of summer time fun building Bee and breaking him down only to build him again. :thumb

Also, his Aunt will be working on Optimus Prime while he's working on Bee. :p

    Nice vid..thanks! :)

First of all great review and major props for getting him constructed under an hour. I am not sold on the big guys but would die for a collection of the minifigs.
I do however give Hasbro props on making constructions bots better than the BTR series. They seem to have vastly improved on the designs of them.

I would like to state to the following:

First time you know of a minifig comes with a a laser blaster.
Lego dudes since the 80's and Mega Bloks Halo come fully equipped with laser, shotguns, sniper rifles plasma grenades etc. Lasers and minifigs are not new and Hasbro is not breaking any new ground here.

Thanks for the review. I wasn't really too interested in these, but that robot actually looks so much better then previous attempts at building block transformers that I may actually try out at least one.

Kre-O stated that they are build take apart and build again. That's their gimmick and what I like about it.

Oh really? I didn't know that! Now I know!

In all seriousness though, great review Spada. The time lapse was a nice touch.

If you could build these AND they could transform, I'd be all over them. As it stands now...I don't buy Transformers that don't Transform. Way too many TFs and Hot Toys out there that I want....can't buy everything.

Enjoyed your review - Bumblebee looks like a lot of fun. I have Starscream, and enjoyed putting him into his jet mode.

Yeah and knowings half the battle. I only said that because that was the fluff they gave me at Botcon, when I like many others initially thought they did in fact transform. So maybe well get Omega and some other true parts formers and they will make them non-partsformers.

So, nice video, but how do you transform it?

... wait, don't tell me the two forms have to be BUILT separately? When I was a kid (and that was in the 80-ies) I made a transforming Lego Optimus Prime about this size, and we did not have ball-joints back then...

I'm only interested in these if they can transform actually, otherwise, what's the point...

What I AM interested in are the little Kreons, they all look amazing, and from the looks, compatible with Lego figures. I hope they'll be sold separately too.

Hasbro would be crazy to do that, because the Kreons are part of the big appeal of these sets. I am sure it is the only reason the OP bought this figure quite frankly. His voice when talking about all of the parts, and the anguish in his voice when talking about building this set - tell all.
