    My previous package from China.

Tfdirect packaged it well enough that Brawny made it though that without a dent on his box.

I've guess I've gone with not so big sellers for my latest badcube products. I have 2017 reissue (and supposedly tweaked) Badcube Brawny and Backland on the way to me. Brawny is from Ebay seller Bababobo00712 aka baba. Backland is from another Chinese Ebay seller. My Huff 2.0 and Piper is coming from a Taobao seller. A few months back I got Sentinel Blaze from baba with no issues. But yeah Badcube flat out refuses to assist the end buyer directly. Dx9 seems to be the same way.

It's kind of like buying KOs. By buying from the eBay guys you pay less but you have no safety net.

You may end up with a great deal, but there is always the chance something could go wrong.

    Case in point for KOs

@CigarJackal That's brutal about your Huff package/hand dude. Hope it doesn't take too long to get sorted out. Also, thanks for the tip with loosening the screws in the feet. I thought that was a good idea and was gonna do it but couldn't find a screwdriver small enough to get in there. Since I've transformed him a few times the feet are way easier to get in and out now.

And since this thread needs more pics:

One reason I buy from Toy Dojo. My Huffer came with two left arms.

Your post makes it seems that ToyDojo provides bad figures.... You could probably add that they'll take care of you.

It depends on the Ebay seller. I only stick to a handful of trustworthy sellers when I buy TFs from China thru Ebay. Guys like bababobo00712 and netclow among others.

I ordered the KO oversized MP Sideswipe from baba. When it arrived I noticed that the shoulder cannon seemed to be coming apart a little. It turned out that one of the screws for it was missing. I snapped a couple pics of the issue and emailed them to him with an explanation of the issue. He immediately agreed to send me the missing screw at no extra charge. Now the shoulder cannon is just fine.

Man, that sucks. I wonder if the post apes really kick packages around for the fun of it or is it a matter of them stacking larger, heavier items on top of small boxes due to laziness and disregard.

I bought a $400 lightsaber from Vader's Vault and my package was similarly kicked around. My heart dropped when I arrived home to see the tattered package sitting on the porch OPEN like a Pez dispenser. It looked like someone used it as a baseball bat or hockey stick. To make matters worse, it was raining that day. Fortunately, the contents were okay.

That is a sweet deal! I woulda jumped on that just as a fun project.

I've been working with suppliers to try to upgrade shipping methods. We've tried custom made cardboard boxes, thin bubble wrap, thick bubble wrap, custom cut styrofoam, standard sized styrofoam boxes, etc. They all have their pros and cons.

Some people understand that as well as you package an item, it's ultimately up to what the post man and courrier do with it once it leaves a seller's hands. Some people don't understand and expect a case fresh box and file paypal claims if there is a crease in the box. And of course, nobody wants to pay more for better packaging.. lol.

It's all good - and part of the serivce/business.

I've found the best thing for the guys that I order thru are the standard pre-made styrofoam boxes for small items and custom cut styrofoam boxes for the bigger stuff. Alot also depends on how the actual product is packaged inside. Thing flimsy clear plastic insert vs. solid foam.

China was on holiday last week (Moon Festival). Now that everyone is back to work, TF direct was able to get me a new hand for Huff.

I love TFdirect. They have my back. They are also a big enough gorilla to push Badcube into getting replacement parts ASAP.

Good to know about TF Direct. I'm waiting on my Huff from TFS Express. Used them once before, my Crash Hog was faulty and the returns process was awkward. I wish I just got it from Kapow while they had him, doh!

Still, it gives 'em another chance... but they said their Huffs have been stuck in customs for the last few weeks.

"Buyable".... It's available at most retailers...

If you're referring to "viable", guy did a mod on an existing product. Not really sure what you meant.

Thanks! If I can figure out how to set up a store on Shapeways. Setting up an account to print stuff for myself is easy. Setting up a shop seems like I'm jumping through hoops (I'm Canadian. For tax purposes and they're operated from the States, they have to have me set that up. It's a pain.) I might end up printing and selling them myself like I did for my Dx9 Mightron shin/torso filler fix. Colour matching filament to Huffs Orange is a pain. Just might have to paint to get the correct colour.

The modded cab that he specifically said he made and posted a video for in the post that i quoted so it should have been obvious to what i was referring is readily available?
