I hope they give Chef one more episode....
This is why I love people that can't tolerate intolerance. It's fine to poke fun at you, but when you turn it around and make fun of me, I'm going to make a fuss.
*please note, love=hate*
Damn, I can't think of anything to say that wouldn't turn this into a banned discussion.
I didn't even realize that they were still making that show. No big loss for me I guess, it is just interesting his reasoning about it.
I'm with Parker and Stone on this one, and I'll leave it at that.
The show pretty much lost it's way anyway. I liked the earlier episodes when they'd always ask chef for advice and he'd end up singing a song that involves screwing chicks. And by the way the episodes have been going, we wouldn't miss the absence of chef anyway, because he's just not there anymore it seems.
I can see it now, they'll kill off Chef next season and devote an episode to making fun of him.
That's one thing with the South Park guys, if you piss them off, they won't shy away from running you through the mud.
After that awesome Scientology episode I wondered if Hayes would stay on.
They hardly used his character any more any way, and when they did it was just more of the same old thing.
Lost it's way? I think it's been better than ever.
Respect for Isaac Hayes has just gone way way down for me.
Because of his seeming hypocrisy or because of the Scientology?
To me it's more of the hypocrisy. I have to stand by Matt and Trey as well.
I would have a lot more respect for Hayes if he had simply refused to do that particular episode...Believing it's OK to be involved in a show that makes fun of every religion but crying when it's your own makes you a VERY large hypocrite in my book. Heck I could even respect him more if he quit before that episode was 1st shown...but it's in re-runs! I don't always agree or like Trey & Matt, but they hit the nail on the head with this one...he cashed the checks just fine when it was poking fun of other religions, races, sexual prefferences...what a freakin' crybaby...if you can't take it, don't HELP dish it out.
I"m not surprised, I wondered how long it would take after the Scientology episode aired.
I don't remember him being in that episode.
He hasn't been on there in quite a while anyway I think. They could easily write him out and replace him with a new character. I see them killing off Chef, badly.
Wow that's pretty lame, totally agree with Parker and Stone.
So...will we be seeing more of Mr. Derp from now on?
The Catholic Church has been mocked pretty badly by them, and as one myslef, I'm not at all offfended by it. In fact, I think that the child molestation one was right on with the point they were making.
Parker and Stone continue to rock on. Woot.
