For the longest time I said, "screw PS3, I'm finishing it with PS2, I'm over it". I was not going to upgrade and even bought a spare PS2 'just in case'. After all this time I am cosidering a PS3 again, but the original backward compatible units, using the emotion chip, are stupidly expensive. Its an old whinge, I know, but its robbery what people ask for units. Up to over $800 for a boxed, new PAL unit and 600-700 used. Bollocks to that. Its still cheaper to buy a PS3 and keep the PS2, but then I have more clutter to accommodate along with my PSX and PS2. Far out, could Mr Sony please make his PS3's backwards compatible again? Ok, whinge over.
