On the Hasbro tour at Botcon, the marketing group hinted at a "second wave" (my term, not theirs) of merchandise that would begin hitting mid-July, primarily targeting shoppers looking for back to school items. I've been tracking a few of these items down over the past week and have some pictures to share. You may not see all of this reflected in the Merchandise List yet--it'll take a few days to get everything out there. I realize some of this has been posted already, but here it is all in one place.

    Clothes & Apparel
    Nine new children's shirts (Walmart)
Autobot logo backpack, lunchbag, and thermos (Target)
Backpacks and lunchbags (TRU) - don't have the second Prime lunchbag yet
    Wallets (TRU)
Flipflops & sandals (Walmart Canada) and children's slippers (TRU)

    School Supplies (all Walmart)
    Binders - two styles
    Folders - six styles pic 1 2 3
    Pencil bags - two styles
    Composition books - 4 styles
    3D spiral notebooks - 3 styles

    Calendar (Barnes & Noble)

Giftbags and new party supplies (missing from the pic is Bumblebee and Barricade wrapping paper) - we had an initial batch of party supplies and bags from Walmart and TRU, now Kmart seems to have some new items

Can you imagine the fate of any kid who dared to come to school decked out in all that stuff?

Well, I sure hope your kids enjoy it. Assuming that you have kids.

Getting the Calendar and MAYBE the backpack, I'll have to see how big the latter is and how good of a quality the material is made of (for example, if it's waterproof). I usually have one big thick spiral notebook/binder with folders that I just use for all my college classes, though, so unfortunately none of those individual notebook/binder/folders will work for me.

I'm very fortunate to be small, so I'm able to wear boys XL tees. :D  Heck the polo I wore at Botcon was a boys large. :lol

I bought the Bumblebee Backpack at TRU the other day when they had the free lunch pail deal. Might have to go back and see if it is still going on and see if I can pick up Ops backpack and BB lunch pail.

Picked up the binders and 4 of the folders yesterday. VERY striking designs, and good prices, too.

If you think you got trouble for tf at school just imagine, I was openly pro tf even in high school. The kids were not very imaginative, the name they called me was "transformer" with a bad tone.

Here are some books for the kiddies
    colouring books
