    Or maybe to their doom!

Posting this because I can't remember the last time I submitted art to this forum and since 3D is currently the rage in this little "Iaconian Gallery", why not? :D

still a work in progress at the moment, this isn't meant to be part of a story or anything as the models need to be redone at some point as well as proper rigging.

Dude, that looks like it could be a diorama for the upcoming movie! SWEET LOOKING! Even though the Autobots are in vehicle mode, they look like they are getting ready for a fight.

How long did it take you to create that? You do some pretty good work!

Looking good. The scale is working nicely with your models, and favours megatron, making him look super menacing.

Yep, Megs looks like he's in the mood to do some severe fender-bending. :D

Excellent meshes, and I'm looking forward to seeing that environment with a few textures - great work! :thumb

I agree. Or, the "aftermath" of the fight as Sideswipe, heavily damaged, is taken away by Ratchet while Jazz and Bumblebee are heavily worn down and beat up as well.

The reason why I say make Sideswipe more heavily damaged is it would fit with his personality more, since his bio says he likes to fight and fight dirty. He'd be willing to take on Megatron, hand-to-hand.

Also, Sideswipe is one of my FAVORITE characters and I'd personally like to see him face-to-face with Megatron. In my "dreams" (okay delusions) he wins, but his heavily damaged as a result.

Thanks, thanks. I look forward to getting this environment done soon, still need to unwrap all the UVs first. It shouldn't be too much of a problem since the objects and props aren't ridiculously complex. Just tedious.

One thing I would live to do is show a close up of Megs transforming for the kill with his barrel pointed down at Jazz, just to hear some heavy horns blowing and Prime rams him in truck mode from the side.

Though atm, I'm just trying to get my stuff rushed-ready for SIGGRAPH. :D

Might be some updates of the actual city tomorrow.

Okay, here's the update with the city textured.

Hard to say because I've worked on and off on these.

Megatron, by far took the longest, and a lot of that was mostly due to experimentation to see what worked and what didn't.

the cityscape itself took maybe two weeks, but it's fairly low poly.

The Lamborghini Countach took about 2 weeks, the Beetle I think 1-2, and the Porsche about 1-2.

Though at this point, I could probably model these things in an 8-hour day or two if left undisturbed.

I'm still not all that keen on things like texturing or lighting or rendering, so I might start to shift over to that since I feel that my proficiency in modeling is getting more to a professional level.

If you guys are interested, you can check out more work at my site, www.maje3d.com.

Reminds me of when Megs got his G2 body in the comics and took out like half of the Autobots.
