hi everyone! i've been enjoying this board since before ROTF came out but this is pretty much my first post (maybe not i don't remember =) anyways who else feels a lot (at least a few) autobots should die, kinda like in Harry Potter 7 (the book at least, i haven't seen the movie) of course it would be sad but i wish a few characters die: like ironhide at least one of the twins (not because everybody hates them but because they should be easy to kill) sideswipe (the coolest transformer yet IMO but since they are not showing him on the screen might as well kill him) and at least one of the new bots how do you guys feel about this?
I know it's sad, but seeing that clip where he rams into those dreads makes me think there will be a fight seen where Ironhide takes them both on but gets killed. I really hope i'm wrong.
If Ironhide dies, which I see as a real possibility, then it's going to be either: A- an heroic death saving his teammates, or B- totally unexpected, kind of like Wash in Serenity. If a Twin died, it wouldn't have as much impact as Ironhide or BB. As far as the rest of the Autobots, I doubt many of the mainline characters will bite it. Wreckers are a given since they're just being introduced here, but to illustrate Shockwave's power, a better bot must die. I vote for Ironhide or Sentinel Prime (leaving just one Prime alive).
I think the Twins death could be a way to reedeem them. Analyze it, you hate them, A LOT, you want them to die and all. Then, in their death scene, they have an extremely brutal [and sad] death [something like Skids is killed in the arms of the Mudflap, who cries and scream stuff like "Don't leave me brother", you got the point], making you feel sorry for them. If you don't feel sorry for them, you're happy because they finally died, so it's a win-or-win situation. Alas Poor Scrappy as TVtropes would say.
Bumblebee please. He has to go big time. Also Ironhide if it's a awesome bloodthirsty and glorious death,
Ironhide makes the most sense to be killed off. He's been in the franchise from Movie one, is one of the most popular Autobots in the film verse, and everyone who's seen the first two would know him and he's popular but not too popular like Prime and Bee that his death wouldn't be considered controversial(depending on how they kill him i suppose), so naturally he would be the best choice at being killed off for a dramatic impact. Who ever else dies, no idea. I doubt they'll kill Ratchet off though, that would only leave Prime and Bumblebee as the only Autobots who were introduced in the first film that make it to the end, which is kinda sad imo. I don't think the twins will die, well maybe one, but I'm still hesitant on that, they were introduced as kid appeal characters, no matter how much their roles change in this they'll still in some way, still be the kid appeal characters, and their death could have the same impact to kids as Bee's or Prime's would to fans.
Like I've said before Its the last of the trilogy so its going to be Bee that bites the big one. It'll be the thing that rallys the rest of the bots into the final fight (possibly the thing that pushes prime into the mega battle we saw in the 30 sec teaser) edit - corrected not that bit from the teaser, but i still think its going to happen Not wanting to traumatise the little kiddies there will be some kind of ressurrection of Be in some form or other, Probably being brought back to life as another smaller younger bot, but showing some signs of being Bee if not fully remembering (like the Data/B-4 connection in Star trek nemesis) I'd be expecting a toy listing for a 'Goldbug' or 'Hot shot' or similar type name to prove that theory. One of the twins is going to die and I'd say pretty early in the film, possibly with the surviving getting an upgrade from the others parts....have there been any shots of the twins vehicles with the ferrari?
I don't think Bee is going to die and Bee was actually fighting when Optimus flies over them and engaging the Decepticons.
