    thansk SM!

Only on the front halves. I doubt it's doing much, but there really wasn't room to install a proper heel.

Are my eyes deceiving me or can I see his knee THROUGH his sword? Vangiluos said the plastic was thin, but good gravy! Even folded up in a picture it's there! I'm expecting mine today, anyone have any thoughs on reinforcing it? Or maybe replacing it? Or am I over-reacting?

Wow, love what you did, especially the chest, the colours really pop. IMHO, his hands look a tad big at certain angles though, but it's minor compared to everything else. Looking forward to see what bonus items you have in store for him.

Nope, it serves it's purpose. I also "tested" the strength of that sword (I know a lot of people are cautious because it is thin.) This one here was painted black, then dry brushed. It's not transparent at all.

    check this out:

Thanks. I think the big hands are nice. They are actually just about the same size as the original fists. I think (in my opinion) hands that are too big make better proportions than hands that are too small.

I could see a little bit of stress line/mark there, but thank God it didn't break. I would think if Vangelus saw this, man he will faint.

Interesting bit of information, f_r. I'm convince to buy him, but you won't see me bending the sword like it was Plastic Man or Mr. Fantastic.

So, when u prep ur figures using paint thinner, 90% alcohol, are u scrubbing with anything? how are u applying this mixture?

Can I ask you a few questions about how you prep your figures?:

    1. Do you scrub the parts down with soapy water? I always do this but it seems to scratch the plastic slightly. I use one of those rough dish washer green things but I don't press hard. I've also tried a toothbrush but it still seems to scratch. Any suggestions?

    2. Do you take these guys apart?

    3. Are you priming all the parts you paint? Or just painting straight over the colors already existing?

Sorry for all the questions but I just want to pick your talented mind.
Thanks. some answers : (for figures in general, this guy was a "special case)
    1) no, i use paint thinner, 90% alcohol.
    2) as often as possible. Easier for me to paint smaller parts then reassemble when dry
    3) My "primer" is my base coat (lacquer paint)

FR, if you're having trouble with rub issues, snag some 'Kleanstrip Bulldog adhesion promoter' and use that as your 'basecoat'. You can't rub paint off of that to save your life.

gotta check that out. is it clear? I got another of this mold, which I painted into...someone else....took a little sanding and cutting, but eliminated a lot of the rubbing problems. Paint sticks really well to FP's type plastic.
